Next for iPhone FAQ
Is Next for iPhone free?
Yes, Next for iPhone is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Next for iPhone legit?
🤔 The Next for iPhone app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I like the app and use it a lot. However, if I’m using the app but then switch to another such as a bank, when I come back the view shifts to half way down the screen. I then have to close and restart the app. I’ve sent a few emails to give feedback to the developers, but there’s been no response. It’s disappointing for a paid for app.
Very near perfect now.
After a few dicey moments with bugs and reliability a year or so ago it now seems ALMOST totally reliable. The only slight issue remains the big it's had for YEARS whereby editing a pre-entered recurring expense will almost always completely mess up the entry, usually requiring 4 or 5 attempts at re-edit before it'll save the description and amount you want instead of seemingly randomised values. Other than that though, and after a sobering experience with simply APPALLING issues with speed, reliability and total inability to sync with its rival "Pennies" I've had for over 18 months now, I think a bump up to 5 stars is in order.
Unusable
The app crashes every time you try to add a description to an entry.
Useable at the momement.
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 11.1.2
Crashing
Since the latest update, the app keeps crashing and I can’t log any of my spending. Please fix
Crash on new version
This app will crash on a iPhone 6s whenever I want to add details of a transaction after updating to the newest version. Never happened before.
No longer supported
This app is nice and I've used it for years but it seems no longer supported. It has a bug that I contacted the developer about three times but no reply. The developer has also stated they cannot make money working on these apps. It now has another bug (export) but I have zero hope of it ever being fixed. I have moved on.
Good
It's good but the icons need to be significantly better or we need to have the option to label them. With that, things can get confusing.
Great but needs a little more
I think a couple touches to add to this would be more icons and Touch ID locking other than that a great money tracking app.
Simple, yet simply lacking...
Limited vague icons and no option to label them. Consequently, I find myself adding to wrong ones creating an inaccurate mess.
This update also makes the app crash
App is not working since the last two updates.
Contacted the developers and app is still not working!!
