Using this app (iOS) also the Mac app, both are excellent. I love how you can use the app ‘stand alone’ but have the option to connect bank accounts online if you desire. IFinance is definitely helping get my financial house in order.
Latest update does not sink on IOS (iPhone) have tried to delete and reinstall still not sinking 😂
Tried 8 days ago to update without any luck, have been in touch with Apple without any success as it’s the 3rd party software that needs to repair and reinstall a newer update but has not happened.
I advise just use Apple MacOS
Databases not synced
Databases not synced across devices (iOS, iPadOS and macOS). Reinstalling not helping.
FANTASTIC APP (2024) - Ignore the old reviews!
This app is BEAUTIFULLY designed. Set up your accounts (choose from a range including online ‘connected’, offline etc) for each bank, credit card, loans owed by friends etc. Then you can screenshot the bank logos or friends pictures and add colours to each account to make it look incredible! ALL of my accounts fit on a single page, without needing to scroll a pile of ugly, boring, oversized icons, as with many apps. Then I had to add 25 almost-identical transactions (unpaid amounts) and the app let’s me easily duplicate them and just change the dates. You can also have multiple databases (ie. Personal, Project, Work etc). A LOT of thought has gone into this app by the designers. Sadly, there’s no multi-user access or activity logs yet, which I’d have liked, but for simple personal finance with connected accounts and 5-star design, THIS is the best on the App Store.
Open banking
It was a big disappointment to discover that this app doesn’t support open banking in the UK, with automatic transaction downloads. There are free alternatives available, albeit without all the tools that iFinance provides. It could be a very useful app if it caught up with the market and offered open banking capabilities.
Backward step
The purchase of version 5 has been a backward step for me and so will continue with version 4 until I see some improvement.
Nice but
Not as good as its predecessor - the shortcomings of the previous version have surely been taken into account and Synium have tried to improve them. However, sync process creates discrepancies and the interface is just not as good as the iFinance 4 version.
Sehr gutes Tool soweit
