Really good app. I’ve used others, but they’re really basic and buggy. Then you get Nizo! I’m no professional videographer, but this app is easy to use and it’s features are really sexy. Looking forward to creating memories through this lens.
UI navigation ... what navigation! Can you even figure how to exit without having to turn off my phone.
I really do love this app and respect the work of the developers. I have a feature request that would make it a 5-star experience for me, and that’s the ability to record audio as a separate file and use that instead of music from my phone. I don’t store a lot of music on my phone so I don’t have many audio options, and although you could use the audio from the video recording, it would be great to be able to record the audio separately within the app and use that for the video footage. Otherwise it really is a great app! Edit: Thank you for the response. I was think that I’d like to record the audio from the scene that I’m recording as a long backing track, so it relates to scene but isn’t choppy, if you see what I mean. Your solution did work well for me so thank you 👌🏻 also, is it possible to change the video filter once the video has been recorded? Many thanks, Jason
Hey this is a really nice app, but having issues duplicating clips. I tap and hold, then get the swipe to delete, tap again to duplicate messages, but take my finger off to tap again and it goes back to previous mode. Can’t work it out? UPDATE! Got a really nice email response from Jason@Nizo and they now get 5 stars. Here’s the advice: To duplicate a clip: 1. Press the clip you would like to duplicate; 2. Keep pressing the clip — then, tap anywhere with a 2nd finger — a copy of the clip will animate on screen. 3. Release “both fingers” — the clip will duplicate into the timeline. You are close, when you press and see the ‘tap again to duplicate’ hint — keep holding the clip down — then, tap with a 2nd finger — release both fingers simultaneously. You’ll find the gesture simple and fast. To cancel duplicating a clip — release your 2nd finger — the duplicate clip will disappear. Cheers Jason, stay safe over in Australia x

App is really great. It creates surprisingly beautiful footage, and the editing process is a perfect balance of minimalism and flexibility. There were a few issues with my setup (iPhone 6) either when trying to film in 4K for a long time, or when the battery level was low, but these are just issues with the phone not Nizo. Support has been really great too 👍

I can honestly say it’s an incredible tool. If you like your video footage to look like real film, then this is for you. It not only frees up your phone of any additional apps required to edit as you can do it all within the one app. It’s also jam packed with features to shoot a professional looking piece without the clutter and confusion. Love a product that just works without trying to be more than it needs to be.
