Nonograms Katana: Sharpen your mind!
Nonograms, also known as Hanjie, Griddlers, Picross, Japanese Crosswords, Japanese Puzzles, Pic-a-Pix, "Paint by numbers" and other names, are picture logic puzzles in which cells in a grid must be colored or left blank according to numbers at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. The numbers are a form of discrete tomography that measures how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive groups.
To solve a puzzle, one needs to determine which cells will be boxes and which will be empty. Determining which cells are to be left empty (called spaces) is as important as determining which to fill (called boxes). Later in the solving process, the spaces help determine where a clue (continuing block of boxes and a number in the legend) may spread. Solvers usually use a dot or a cross to mark cells they are certain are spaces.
It is also important never to guess. Only cells that can be determined by logic should be filled. If guessing, a single error can spread over the entire field and completely ruin the solution.

I've been playing this for years, despite the strain on my eyes... 😆 However, as of very recently, you can't watch an ad to get more hints; so, it looks like my journey with this app may have come to an end, as the one I'm on is very difficult to complete without hints.
Update: I tried to continue without the additional hints, & I now have about 10 -15 puzzles that I can't go further with. I'm sick of having to scroll so far down to get a new game, which I don't even know if I can complete, so yeah, it's deffo got to go.

Have been playing this for many years and have loved it. However, they have jumped on the money-making bandwagon now. Previously, if you needed assistance with correcting mistakes etc you were allowed up to 15 hints. When you ran out, you could watch an advert and 30 hints were made available. But not anymore. If you want extra hints, you have to pay for them. And some of the puzzles are too difficult to do without extra hints. A superb game totally ruined by greed.
Recent bug?
I have been playing this game for ages now, but in the last couple days I’ve found that the music for an ad will play, even though the ad doesn’t show. It’s always the same ad as well. Thx

Truly the best app for Nonogram lovers.
No guild on iOS!
I love this game and have been playing for about 5 years, it’s the best app for Nonograms game with an infinite range of puzzles and levels of difficulty. However, I just switched to iPhone and am absolutely gutted to discover the guild does not exist on iOS! I’ve unwittingly left my almost-completed guild behind, which had become one of my favourite parts of the game :’(
Damn annoying music at start
Games great but awful advert at start making bad repetitive music, hard to locate to turn off, so I turn the game off and find a game without an annoying advert at the start
Amazing Nonogram Game
By far the best nonogram game on the App Store. My favourite thing is the inclusion of both black/white and colour games, as well as various solving tools, with a huge amount of customisation available to help make the game play exactly how I want it to.

No need to include pictures of guns
Good app, enjoy the puzzles but some of the pictures are unnecessary -for example a gun and bullets
No Guild 😞
The game itself is ok but it’s disappointing that the iPhone version doesn’t allow me to continue with the guild and when I asked if there were plans for the guild to be included on iPhones I was told no 😞
