NorCamp - Reviews, Revenue and Downloads - Apple App Store

Description

NorCamp is a comprehensive camping guide for Scandinavia (Denmark, Germany, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Sweden... and since 2024 also Estonia, Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Latvia), which also includes smaller, lesser-known camping and parking sites. The app is a one-man project and the data used has been collected and maintained with the utmost care in collaboration with campsite owners and NorCamp users.

You can use it to search for campsites in your area or near specific locations on a map and view detailed information about each site. This includes data such as address, email and phone numbers, photos, reviews, price category, number of camping cabins and rooms, as well as the website of the campsite. It is also possible to write reviews about the sites, rate them, and upload photos. The project thrives on the support of its users.

App war hilfreich

Navigation

Nebst der Anbindung an Apple Maps und Google Maps wäre eine Anbindung an die TomTom Navi App wünschenswert, da hier eine offline Routennavigation möglich wäre. Zumindest sollte aber die in der App angezeigte Adresse mit Copy Past übernommen werden können. Vielen Dank für die Prüfung und Erweiterung der App.

Die App war eine große Hilfe bei unserer Tour zu den Lofoten im Gegensatz zur ADAC-App, die häufig ihre eigene PIN CAMP Nummer nicht findet. Sehr schön ist auch die Kopplung mit Apple Maps. Bin rundum zufrieden.

Sehr hilfreich

Die App ist sehr hilfreich und praktisch. Das einzige was noch etwas besser werden sollte, sind die Öffnungszeiten. Die fehlen bei vielen (Saison Öffnungen). Aber ansonsten Top!

Zeitgemäss und schnell.

Die App fühlt sich gut an und die Haptik ist zeitgemäss. Bei schlechtem Mobil Empfang hat sie aber noch mühe und stürzt gerne ab. Vermutlich wegen login und pro Prüfung beim Start.

Lots of details on all camp grounds of Iceland, including contact details. Highly recommended.
