And while Norton Family lets you set online time limits, it also helps you start open and ongoing conversations about how to build safe and smart online habits. As a parent, it’s important to have insight into what your kids are doing. Our helpful tools allow you to monitor kids’ online activities at a glance or be notified by email alerts, so you know when it’s time to talk.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To use the features of Norton Family on your family’s iOS devices, this Norton Family app should first be installed on your child’s iOS device. Parents can configure household policies, manage alerts and reports from family.norton.com. To do this on iOS devices, please download the Norton Family for Parents app.

School Time: Remote learning requires the internet, so pausing the internet on your child’s device is not an option. Norton Family School Time is a feature to help parents manage their child’s remote learning environment, so you can keep your child focused on schoolwork and avoid other internet distractions during the school day.

Web Supervision: Let your kids explore the Web freely, with tools that help you block unsuitable websites while keeping you in the know about which sites they’re visiting.

Time Supervision: Stay on top of how much time your kids spend on their devices.

Search Supervision: See words, terms, and phrases your kids are searching for to gain insights into their interests and help protect them from inappropriate content.

Video Supervision*: See a list of the YouTube videos your kids watch on their PCs or iOS devices and even view a snippet of each video, so you know when you need to talk.

Instant Lock: Parents can help kids take a break by locking the device so they can re-focus, or join the family at dinner. Individual devices can be unlocked with a PIN. Parents and children can still contact each other while the device is in lock mode.

Email Alerts: Receive an email when your kids attempt to visit a blocked site so that you can start a conversation about appropriate content.

Access Request: Open the lines of communication by enabling your kids to send you a note from within Norton Family if they disagree with a blocked site or a house rule.

Monthly/Weekly Reports: Opt to receive detailed reports of what your kids are doing online, right in your email in-box.

This app is the worst, my dad added it to all my devices. Make sure to never tell your parents about this app it’s the worst

Please make apps reappear

My apps disappear for no known cause and some don’t do harmful things so deep within my heart please reappear my apps that are secure and safe and also if you live up to your name safety make apps reappear and not disappear I will highly appreciate it thanks Recommend this app for kids and adults

Can’t use Teams for school properly

This app doesn’t allow me to use school software like Teams or send messages for school via Teams. I can’t even respond to teachers! So frustrating

im so mad at everyone for this app literally cant do anything and im sad and i feel the need not to use anything anymore, from losing my phone to not even letting me search in peace. i see a big big problem, my parents can invade my privacy and i will not eat or drink or sleep or let alone go to the toilet at this point. why cant i just be me and do whatever i want, its so strict and im not allowed to even have YOUTUBE, how dumb is that, i cant ask time unless my dad is here to add more.

Horrible app

This app has made my life horrible as a kid we should not have a time limit because it’s annoying and horrible it’s useless and please get rid of it because my dad needs to stop setting my time to zero

Deletes your apps😤don’t get this crusty app

This app sucks now my phone has no use only until a little certain amount of time😐😐I cant even use google; AND trust me this doesn’t make your device quote on quote “safer” it just gets rid of almost every app on your device and you can’t do nothing. DONT GET IT😣👿 and I can’t delete it? Yeah it sucks so don’t get this app. Also I wish I could rate this 0 stars 😒

Awful

Every time it turns off all of my apps, it deletes all of my boxes and makes my home screen a complete mess so when it turns back on, my apps are in a completely random order

Absolute torture.

So, I’m a kid, and whenever I ask for more time on my devices and my Dad turns it on, it doesn’t work. On top of that, I have depression and I can’t get rid of it.
