Monster Hunter Now Reviews

Lacking customer service/support

Direnscure on

Would have rated game higher overall not not for some connectivity issues causing multiple disconnects from monster fights (from right in the middle of the fight to right before you defeat monster, causing you to have to restart the fight again, but losing resources used during the fight), to really annoying disconnects during raid bosses…multiple times/attempts, it’s infuriating at times. Even with those issues I would have bit the bullet and stuck with the game, however, after participating/completing Season 3 and not receiving the medal for doing so at the end of the season. I put in a ticket about the issue figuring it may have just been a bug. Few days have passed, no word back from the company for any chance to resolve the issue. Just really disappointed since I did spend money on Season passes up to this point and now feeling ripped off over something small, but means something to players sometimes, especially supporting the game. Would avoid game based on lack of customer service/support.

I love the game, been on it for about a year now. Absolutely amazing. Only thing that I dislike is seeing all the monsters nearby. I’m disabled and mobility is quite an issue, it’s just a tease and a reminder, but I get it. 6/5 stars.

Niantic greed

Game is amazing and everything about it is addicting and extremely entertaining and enjoyable. But I can’t recommend this game to anyone or play it myself. The fact that you have limited play time is insane. Niantic really needs to stop being so greedy with these games. I mean 5 healing potions a day just isn’t enough and to put only real world currency price tags on them is stupid and honestly just makes the game not fun when u get deep into the game where your gonna die a lot against the higher level monsters. Not fun to walk around just to turn back around cause you died from a 5 star monster.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was not expecting the game to be as enjoyable as it is, im glad to have been proven wrong.

So close but no…

I love the Monster Hunter series and was excited to play this, but have found that the hunts were not enjoyable. Pros: The game does an amazing job implementing the weapons of the MH series. Has many great monsters that you look forward to getting to face off with. Cons: The hunts are either so easy that you beat it in 5-15 seconds or so hard that the monsters 1-2 hit you as they dash all around, with little to no in between. You don’t have to deal with fails from fainting in the traditional sense, but is replaced by being able to use a potion even when downed; however, you only receive 5 potions per day (basically 5 partial revives per day).

I like it

The set up is similar to Pokémon go, I also enjoy the size and scale of the monsters being hunted. It’s a great game in my opinion.

The best game ever made
