NTU Omnibus FAQ
Is NTU Omnibus free?
Yes, NTU Omnibus is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is NTU Omnibus legit?
⚠️ The NTU Omnibus app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
baits you into thinking a bus is coming into 5 mins (which best case scenario is more like 8 minutes because it always under predicts), then when the bus arrives you realize that nope the bus is off service and not accepting anyone to board, because they always time it perfectly so that the entire bus driving team is on break at the same time literally the entire school is trying to move into/out of class
time is relative
when NTU tells u it’s coming in 1min, it actually meant somewhere from 5-20min! living proof of relativity;)
emotional distress
writing this as i wait for the bus that is supposedly coming in -17 min. it’s been saying that the bus is coming in one minute for the past 17 min. and this happens at least twice a week whenever i use it. it’s made me late for class multiple times. if i knew the bus was coming in 20 min i wouldn’t have waited. the timing of the bus literally ranges from 1-2 min wait to 20-30 min wait???? and super often it’ll say 5 min only to make u wait literally 20 min. it makes me feel levels of rage ive never felt before.
update: the bus came after 24 min 🔥🔥🔥📣📣📣‼️‼️‼️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Inaccurate timing
The bus left before my very eyes when I reached Pioneer MRT Exit B, even though the app said the bus will arrive in 2 mins despite refreshing the app over and over again.
So I thought, ok, another bus will come in 2 mins. I refreshed and refreshed suddenly it became 9 mins.
2 stars cos the bus came just when I finished typing this review
Bus timings are scam
Can’t stop making up its mind on the timing like how my ex can’t make up her mind on what she wants.
Also I like how the buses on the map can fly outside the route.
Ridiculous App without proper plan and maintenance
This app is a good initiative. However, the quality of it looks like a FYP project done by primary 6 student. I hope NTU, Nanyang “Technological” University, learn to do proper research and design prior the implementation of any new “technology”.
Not Working Now
No bus cords are showing.
Bugs: no buses shown on the map
There is no bus displayed on the map. My device is iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 15.7
UI needs some improvements
Although bus timing is better than before, the UI design is way too outdated and needs some adjustments. The top bar doesn’t fit dynamic island of iPhone 14 pro. The icon of the bus is placed too far away from road and sometimes hard to locate the bus.
Really bad
If this app works properly when you open it, you are extremely lucky.
