NY Waterway Reviews

Doesn’t work exactly when you need

Eke jerhjsjshs on

United States

Multiple times their payment or the part of the app that shows the tickets doesn’t work right when I’m trying to buy tickets. Then I end up waiting for the next ferry because the app is broken

Overpriced / rude service / wknd service

Why is there no midtown service from Paulus hook?

Over priced!

Aggressively expensive and mediocre service

Locked!

M.Yanow on

United States

I’ve discovered that if you upgrade your phone, the tickets get locked out ON YOUR ACCOUNT!! Customer service is only open a few hours ever morning, so it’s impossible to get the tickets unlocked

App is terrible

TastyBird on

United States

For the amount of money they charge for ferry tickets you think they could hire a decent app developers

Bus locator

PollyPotable on

United States

The “new” bus locator is problematic. Info isn’t updated in a timely matter and the display is difficult to read. Don’t see any improvement on this. Old locator was better.

Liberty Harbor Ferry

Really a pain! on

United States

I take the ferry almost daily between Liberty Harbor and Pier 11. My first issue is the lack of air conditioning on the boats and my second is the lack of organization at certain times of day on Pier 11, when all ferries converge with too few docks. This especially difficult to negotiate at 5:30 PM at the height of many commuters travel. In reference to the ferry crew they are always very helpful and friendly!

Too many notifications

flxnyc1 on

United States

I use this app rarely and it really doesn’t need to show me notifications about news all the time.

leave me alone

jbinjc on

United States

way too many pointless notifications

Not enough ferries to provide flexible service

Cre8tivTd on

United States

My schedule is not 9-5.
