Ready for better EV charging?
This is Octopus Electroverse. Europe’s largest EV charging network.
It will change how you charge on the go.
——
Access over 850,000 global chargers with the all-powerful and award-winning Electroverse app and Electrocard. The Electrocard (RFID) is free to order & you can do this through the Electroverse app whenever you like.
‘But I’m not an Octopus customer!’ we hear you cry - well, good news! You don’t need to be with Octopus Energy to use Electroverse - it’s open to all!
What’s more, paywalls and hidden fees aren’t our thing - we’re more ‘discounts and inclusivity’. So, once you’ve signed up, you’ll have access to every feature immediately.
You’ll also only ever get clear and transparent pricing from us. We never mark up charging rates, passing through the rate we receive from the relevant network. This also means we’re able to wrangle some discounted deals - and you can wave goodbye to pre-authorisation fees, as we absorb those too.
Sound good? Then we’ll see you in the Electroverse soon.

I like this app. But the route planner is poor. It’s difficult to find addresses. Main St in Gisburn for example is listed as Main St Clitheroe which is confusing and it offers alternate routes but no way to select them. If the route planner was better it would be 5 stars.
One of the easiest to plan a route
I’m new to EV ownership and planning a route. So far charging at home has been enough for me. I’ve tried several apps I found this one to be one of the easiest apps to plan a route with. I really like the route list showing the likely charge at each step of the way and how long it is likely to take to achieve a specific charge at each of the selected charge stations. I’ll know soon how accurate this is going to be when I use my first planned route to my holiday destination. I will be travelling with others in their own cars so it would be really useful if I could share my planned route by email etc with them. It would also be nice to be able to select a satellite view of the map when planning a route. It does not seem possible to edit a saved route, only delete it or am I missing something. It would also be useful to alter if I could alter the order of the list by dragging up or down the list instead of deleting it and adding it again. I just tried the new CarPlay app in my 2020 Kona and tried to use my new saved route but it doesn’t work. I found and selected my saved route. It said it was from Manor Lane, Hampshire to SA44 4XA. I then selected go but it started my route from Chepstow. Even then it was not showing Chepstow on the map, I had to zoom out to see the route.
Not as expected
Why do you have Wattif charge points on your app. Unable to charge via the app as you have no agreement with them to do so…
Successful charge
4 chargers all empty at lunch time. Successful charge at 30kWh @0.33€
Good ‘universal’ charging app AND charge finder
This is the charge app I use most (I don’t need an app as such for Tesla) and actually the only charge card I have. It’s also the app I turn to first to look for charge points as it shows many non-partnered networks as well as already partnered ones, and all across Europe from Portugal to south Croatia to northern most Norway and even Iceland.
It does have a few quirks round the edges - like trying to add charger photos after a visit - but it does it’s basic job pretty well. Having said that I always use the associated Electrocard when possible.
Great App!
This app is great! So easy to use along with discounted rates if for being a octopus Go customer!
Doing a very good job, keep up the good work! 👍🏻
This may the only EV app we need
With intergrated charging in the app with most charging companies… this may be the only app we need. Hopefully they’ll keep invested in it and add more vendors, and more features.
Losing connection with EV charger supplier
Application keeps saying waiting for response then nothing happens for a long time.
When I stop charging the app says stopped charging however the charges keeps going until I call the supplier to disconnect remotely.
Quite poor experience with the application.
Easy charging
It was very easy to charge the car. The only thing I can moan about is the price it charged £.60 per kilowatt hour which to me seems a bit high. I would urge Electroverse or to look at the pricing and maybe charge people a bit less around about £.30 per kilowatt hour would be appropriate. Thank you.
Can’t set start destination
Seems the latest update has broken the ability to set a start location. Just always stays on current location no matter what you select. Tried the app support, but you just send me to a privacy policy on your web site with no support information there.
