OffScreen: Screen Time Control

Everyday I get the message that offscreen can’t use my location, while it’s on “always”. When I restart my phone it works for a while again.

When I use offscreen and it blocks everything it’s just not blocking I can still use it.. I have no other problems I think is a great app to focus

I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and after beauty a month I bought the whole version, and I’ve never regretted this decision ever since. Both the insight and the widgets this app brings are amazing, and it often helps me to put away my phone. The off time function the app comes with os amazing as well since it forces you to do something else instead of mindlessly grabbing your phone and scrolling for hours. However, despite of the wide variety of features it already has, misses the app some features in my opinion. First of al, I think it would be amazing if it was possible to let the app block me from using apps after I’ve spend more then a certain amount of time on my screen or in the app. Or having to press a button for ten seconds before you could proceed would already give you a moment to reconsider wether it is really a good idea to use the app, or if it’s better to do something more productive. Secondly, it would be rather motivating if you could get a sort of “score” if you reach certain goals you share with friends so there even comes a bit of a competitive side of putting away your phone. Lastly, it would be useful if we could get insight on what type of app we use most and get some widgets for this information as well. To conclude, I really like this app, and it really helps me. I hope that my feedback helps to improve the app even further and that I can use some of my ideas in the near future. Yours sincerely, Thomas Nieuwenhuis

The app is very straightforward and I also like the Pomodoro timer, but it would be nice if the timer doesn’t count the moments when you are using navigation software in your car. I know that the app is right that you are on your screen anyway, but it would still be nice if you can rule out some apps.

Make the widgets update themselves automatically please. I now have to open the app before I see updated data in the widget.

It gives you interesting statistics and a ton of pop up messages trying to get you to put your phone down. 2 main improvements needed: (1) excluding navigation apps and (2) incorporating time zone changes.
