OFX Money Transfer Reviews

Disappointed

habibjanjua on

United Arab Emirates

I am very disappointed it has taken about 3-4 months, I am still waiting for account verification Neither they are approving nor they are disapproving. Not asking for if there is anything missing.

Great App / great service 👌🏻

Richard_dxb on

I have been using OFX for a little bit more than a year now and all my transactions have always been very smooth. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Doesn't work for UKForex

Kelagha on

United Arab Emirates

Not exactly "all-in-one" if you can't use the UKForex login details to use the app.

Quirky app

Lucy L5 on

Australia

Ok when it works but now I cannot get past the verification. Jumps directly to step two and bypasses step one. I had telephone support and told to delete the app and reinstall. Worked once and then never again… missed a big transaction that I completed with another company.

Terrible Service, Long Wait times For Account Activation

BerroLexx on

Australia

Have been waiting over 6 weeks for account activation. Every time I follow up told 48hours, and then nothing. I will not trust this group with my money considering they cannot even activate an account, ended up going with Western Union who had better rates anyway, and was able to transfer money successfully that day. Don’t waste your time, OFX Cleary don’t want any news business.

Reasonable rates but slow transfers

BigDave99999 on

Australia

I’ve used OFX for more than 10 years to move money like house deposits and proceed of house sales between UK and Australia. The rates are good but the speed of the transfer process has fallen behind the financial services industry. The banks I use at both ends of a transfer do real-time payments to/from OFX, but it then takes up to 24 hours for OFX to sit on the money before the transfer happens. If I transfer from UK to Aus directly between my bank accounts it happens instantly.

UI needs attention

pay_advice on

Australia

On my iPhone the text labels for the 5 tabs at the bottom of the UI are too low and are impeded by the physical dimensions of the display and the horizontal line. Transfers essentially appears as “nfers” Settings essentially appears as “Settin” Recipients appears as “Recipie” Market appears as “rket” Transfer Now is not visible at all due to the horizontal line. Looks very unprofessional and has been like this as long as I recall. It annoys me a lot. Aside from this the app serves its purpose.

Really poor service. Over a week of calling to get my account up and running.

Safe find transfers

LipLine on

Australia

I’m so glad to be able to use this instant platform who also gives (exchange rate is better) More to the cause you’re sending $$$. The Only down side is that I can’t send on the weekend but it’s Not a deal breaker. Just glad that my family who have an instant need have access to funds for safe food, water and materials to repair shelter are able to do so. Thanks again.
