Oman Taxi: Otaxi

Very confusing app. Putting in destination and pick up often problematic. And I got charged once when I was just trying to check price. Uber and Grab and Bolt are all great. But for me OTAXI is a headache!! You need to improve the system and inline with other taxi apps!

This app is practically useless unless you need to find a cab in an isolated area. Why do I put in my credit card details if the taxi cannot be paid via the app with the card? As a business traveller I was excited to not have to pay in cash for Omani taxis and actually have a metered fare - but alas despite having entered my credit card details to the app the taxi driver only accepted cash. Useless. The app makes it no easier to get around Muscat, May as well hire a hotel car for the day.

app is good as long as my plan allows me to use data… but the app is cheating if you are in a hotel as it is only offer luxury drive. while is a great experience it is very expensive for day to day use of it. I will rather rent a car

The app won't let you book any taxis without first confirming a phone number via SMS or whatsapp, but for multiple numbers I tried, it never sends the code no matter how long you wait and how many times you try to resend it. This makes the app 100% unusable
