On Demand Calgary Transit is one of the ways we provide transit to communities that don’t have fixed route bus service yet. The service allows customers to book travel as needed, on their schedule.
It’s easy to get started:
1. Create an account.
Download the On Demand Calgary Transit app and follow the simple signup steps.
2. Book a ride.
Enter your pick-up and drop-off address. Choose the proposal that works for you by tapping Book This Ride.
3. Meet your driver.
Check the app to see your designated pickup point. It may be a short walk away, but it helps to cut down on detours and make your journey faster.
The route for each trip is planned based on the needs of customers on that vehicle – your trip may be different each time, but will always be planned to get you where you need to go quickly.
Our On Demand service welcomes strollers, kids, pets (in a small carrier), service dogs, luggage and/or groceries or other belongings (as long as they fit).
If you need a wheelchair accessible vehicle, let us know when you book your ride by tapping your profile picture or image at the top of the app menu and tapping the Wheelchair Accessibility toggle to turn it on.

⚠️ The Sieradz Lubię app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The new app makes it impossible to plan rides in advance, is always too busy at every time of day, and is harder to navigate. There are times where I’ve booked trips that suddenly disappeared on my screen, and then the app tells me that I “missed” my ride, even if the driver doesn’t show. The concept is great, and a few rides have gone well, but horribly inefficient.

Driver always late. The time arrived is not accurate.
Scheduling issues, otherwise great
Fantastic service, great drivers but there’s been multiple incidents where I book a ride for 30-40 minutes or so away, start getting ready and the next time I check the app like 15 minutes later the driver will be waiting for me because the app switched me to a ride 20 minutes early without my interaction. On one incident it happens twice back to back. This needs to be fixed whether by getting rid of the feature or simply requiring an OK from you before making the change
I miss the old on demand
this new upgrade sucks, before you could books vans for the specific time you want to go somewhere but with this new one you can only book right when you need to which makes it so much more difficult. and when it’s busy i can never get a ride, i have classes today and it keeps saying the seats are full. ugghgg they need to either add a bus stop or bring back the old on demand service.
Poor service
This app causes me so many issues I practically get a headache whenever I open the app. There’s no way to communicate with the driver, which makes coordinating difficult, it’s constantly delayed and never accurate, and I always have an awful time booking a ride. This app is flawed in so many ways and left me stranded outside in the snow for 30 minutes because of how poor the functions of the app are.
Drivers who can’t navigate
There’s a guy named Samson who completely cannot figure out the stops, on November 19, 2024 he missed my bus stop completely during drop off and marked me that I got off. Then today, November 20, 2024 I booked a bus where he parked at a completely different stop then left. Please I beg you get a driver who’s able to read directions. Especially street directions.
I don’t like the way apps work.
You just can’t move back from the processing request and if you try to leave the app and run it again there is no info and when you just try to book another ride it just says that the ride is already booked try another time with no information of the ride. This is so frustrating.
On demand
Very good service being provided by Calgary transit. Efficient and reliable transit service so far.
Can’t even register account
It keeps telling me wrong phone number, even though I can receive the text code and input correctly. When I entered my personal information, and clicked next, it always popped up error message, asked me to input valid phone number!!!
It’s nice
It’s so comfortable and saves a lot of stress. I love it!
