OpenPhone Reviews

Sign up process is tedious

Curtsy2465 on

The sign up process is providing your name and validating a cell phone number. That is it. As soon as I provided this information, my account was blocked. And received an invasive email asking for me to email them my Social Security Number and a picture of my ID via plain text unsecured email. Massive privacy violation.

You have created an awesome app, it works perfectly for us… Sometimes I wish we had a clearer connection on phone calls with a little less lag, but that may be inherent to Internet calls. I’m not sure…

Getting a phone number is the easy part. Using it requires training, of which there is none other than trial and error. Expect as much if you sign up and use this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OpenPhone is a Game-Changer for Business Communication!

KeithJonesCPA on

United States

OpenPhone has completely transformed the way I manage my business communication. The app is intuitive, reliable, and packed with features that make it ideal for professionals like me who need a seamless way to stay connected with clients. The ability to separate work and personal calls on the same device is a lifesaver. The call quality is excellent, and the integrations with tools like HubSpot make tracking conversations effortless. I also love the flexibility to send texts, record calls, and manage voicemails—all from one app. Customer support is top-notch, responding quickly and always ready to help with any questions or setup needs. OpenPhone has become an essential tool in my daily operations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a professional phone system that’s easy to use and scalable for growth! — Keith L. Extremely overpriced

After paying $70/mo they require an additional $20 fee and additional monthly payment to be able to even message your clients. You can get a brand new iPhone and an unlimited business line at any carrier for cheaper.

Game changer for any business

Hands down the best phone app I have ever seen or used.

Mic Required “on”to send text messages? Seems a News Station would be interested in investigation.

Seems Shady? Do you agree?

Doesn’t sync consistently

Nice idea but we miss calls and texts pretty regularly throughout the week. We will be switching soon as I don’t see this getting resolved as they aren’t acknowledging this is a problem (no surprise with any software company). Do better at doing what you promise are features. If we can’t trust your reliability, your features are useless.
