Opensignal Speed Tests
Opensignal speed tests measure your real experience of mobile connectivity and signal. The speed test runs a 10 sec download test, 10 sec upload test and ping test to determine the speed you will likely experience. The speed test runs on common internet CDN servers. The result is calculated with the middle range of samples.
Check if you're getting the network quality you're paying for from your mobile network or internet provider. Use our coverage maps to compare networks and data speed in your area. Opensignal works with WiFi mobile broadband internet.

Need dual SIM support
I always like open signal. But nowadays most phones support dual sim but this app doesn’t. The problem is that the test results are always marked with the primary sim I installed which affect the accuracy of data collected. If OpenSignal doesn’t fix this it’s the impact to the organisation’s reputation
The iOS version cannot show the data

Opensignal is the most comprehensive and transparent way to assess which mobile operator to choose before making a purchasing decision. This new version has many bugs fixed and is much more convivial. The new metric " time of 4G/3G" is really critical for users that are looking for very fast speed. Do not listen to operator claims anymore, use this application to compare by yourself the operator coverage in your area of interest. Operator maps are usually theoretical, while Opensignal maps are taken from measurement of real users. As for other crowd sourcing tools, the more people use it, the more accurate the result becomes!

Nice smooth running app. Gives a fast and easy test showing latency as well The video test has the super bright colors
No Signal Strength Data
Privacy agreement says signal strength is being shared. I was counting on being able to see it. A good place to put it would be by the big arrow when finding the nearest cell tower. This feature didn’t work—no cell tower detected. I like the concept of crowdsourcing this information. The app is on the right track.
Stopped working
This app used to work. Now it says no signal no matter where I am. No white arrow at all even after 3 updates.
Abysmal App
How Opensignal is considered the the gold standard, I have no clue! This is one of the least functional apps. From the user interface being abysmal, to the app being not being able to perform speed tests at the maximum download and upload speed that the network is capable of and showing data relevant to the speed test, to the find my tower feature never working, I honestly think they should remove the app and rebuild it from the ground up!
Works…Sometimes, sort of.
I got this app to help aim my cell phone booster antenna. The signal is weak here and the app had me aiming about 70 degrees off, just barely in the edge of reception. Lately I have been trying to use it to monitor bandwidth with my new WiFi system and about half the time it says it cannot find the server. In summary, better than nothing, not very accurate or reliable.
History
Recent update doesn’t allow you to delete history. If you come back it’s all there. Strange…
