Even when I’m out of the city And the stars are clear in the sky, stars can be EASILY confused, and hard to remember (I mean, who could?). This is quite the interesting app. It uses GPS and AR (augmented reality) technology to give you a real life depiction of the stars above you in real time. It was very user friendly and fun to play around with. The app has options about to what you wish to see (ie stars, moons, planets, horizons) and includes constellation artwork and major celestial bodies in vivid colours to easily locate them. I highly suggest the camera feature because it gives you a better sense of where the celestial bodies are found as opposed to just seeing a cartoon space background and the constellation artwork. The best part of OSR Star finder, if you so wish, is that you can name and buy a star through the app with the Online Star Register and can then easily find it later by typing in your star’s registration code.
