With the OSR Star Finder App you have the universe in the palm of your hand. You can almost literally touch your star and easily locate and track it at any time of the day. The Star Finder App helps you navigate the universe and shows you the beauty of the constellations and the stars in our galaxy. Learn more about the 88 constellations and several famous Landmark Stars along the way.
With the registration code it's easy to find a star. The app shows you the dates and times at which you can gaze at the star from your location. Did you locate the star? You can easily take a picture of the star and share it with friends and family. Optimize your experience by changing the settings. For example switch the Augmented Reality-mode and Night Mode on/off.

There’s no question! This is an AMAZING app!!! I’m so curious about the stars and space and this just makes it all come to life, even on the cloudiest nights! You can sit at your bed, and chart stars without needing to be outside, when it’s physically IMPOSSIBLE to, due to the light pollution and other city pollution. Even when I’m out of the city
And the stars are clear in the sky, stars can be EASILY confused, and hard to remember (I mean, who could?). It helps me track stars weather I’m inside, or out, and it’s SUPER easy to catch on to. I totally recommend it!

Awesome App. Couple of Asks
Thank you for creating this wonderful app. May I ask for a couple of things that will really help me with my astrophotography (I’m trying to photograph the night sky), such as:
- showing the galactic centre. Is that already in there? I did not see it.
- showing weather conditions for current or specific location, such as: dark sky or light pollution (indicates how clearly you can photograph the stars/planets), cloudy or rainy or clear sky indicator (indicates how clearly you can see the stars/planets).

When I point at the floor it shows stars why I can point at the sky in morning and it shows stars why .

Nice look and feel but not calibrated
Trying to match up the constellations was not working properly - azimuth was about 120 degrees off, there should have been an easy way to calibrate
Otherwise this would be great giving s fabulous and clean layout
Oh my stars!
This is quite the interesting app. It uses GPS and AR (augmented reality) technology to give you a real life depiction of the stars above you in real time. It was very user friendly and fun to play around with. The app has options about to what you wish to see (ie stars, moons, planets, horizons) and includes constellation artwork and major celestial bodies in vivid colours to easily locate them. I highly suggest the camera feature because it gives you a better sense of where the celestial bodies are found as opposed to just seeing a cartoon space background and the constellation artwork. The best part of OSR Star finder, if you so wish, is that you can name and buy a star through the app with the Online Star Register and can then easily find it later by typing in your star’s registration code. Overall, I feel like this would be a cool thing to pull out while stargazing to identify exactly what you are seeing in the sky. (4/5 stars)
