The Ottawa Citizen app connects you to the news you need to know. Create your custom feed so you don't miss the latest from your favourite writers.
Features include:

· Navigate directly to individual publications from across the Postmedia network.

· You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal after purchase in the App settings. Select "My Subscription" then "Manage my Subscription" and you will be able to make changes.

New design is awful
Links are showing only on quarter of page. Rest is white space. When you click link, it opens page and picture take 90% of page. On third link it ask to login. Not sure what is a purpose of this app at all.
Awful - don't update
This "completely new experience" is completely awful. Too much white space surrounding font that is too small. And even worse in landscape orientation - half the screen is blank. No search. A 'Discover' button that leads to other newspapers, not to other Ottawa content.
Headlines only
Stick with web, why let them track your phone with this weak excuse for an app.
Only paid content
This app used to be my “Go To” app for local Ottawa news. This new update only lets me view content if I’m a paid subscriber. No thanks, deleting app as it’s now absolutely useless. Bad decision and such a shame.
Full of ads and still can not read local news
Why show me a headline in between so many ads that I am not allowed to read. I just search online and read it anyway. And now I won’t see any of your ads.
What’s the point of this app?
No search function. Never sends alerts (yes, I have the feature turned on). Limited content. Why even bother??
Improvement idea
You need to provide nicer news. Most of your reports are depressing to all of us.
Fails over and over again. Requires constant restart.
This may be the worst app ever written! It can load two articles to read before needing to close and restart. After a morning of doing this a dozen times, I manage to get through the day’s news. Pathetic treatment of a customer base. Is it any wonder newspapers are struggling?
Frustrating ap
Layout is fine by the app freezes on you so you cannot open articles without the content seizing up. Had to let go of my subscription. Emailed them but it has never been resolved. Frustrating.
