For a screen time app it dose its job but I have a few issues 1. Let us edit our home screen while the in app version kinda works its such a hassle to use and half the time it gets scrambled the next day. 2. Let us delete apps I have a bunch of games and apps I need to get rid of but I can’t through the in app I can’t through my Home Screen and now the settings version isn’t working 3. Widgets you whould think that after they redesigned there whole app they whould add widgets they’ve been around for a while now but we still don’t have access to it 4. Passwords my sister keeps snooping on my phone so I went to change the password and I can’t like the option isn’t even there like come on 5. Offer a more self control version were I can control how much I spend on what like some days I blow my hour on TikTok and can’t do Duolingo 6. Please make the themeing less childish I’m 14 for Christ sake Thank you for listening

okay, first of all, I’d like to address the fact that most kids here are addicted to their phones, so there are probably not going to be fair and honest reviews of the app. So some “pros” I’ve noticed is that it is quite effective in depleting your urge to look at the phone. What I mean is that when your apps get removed, you have a limited number of things you can do on your phone, as well as the fact your phone is boring to look at with basically no apps. It does the job very well, good at dropping dopamine. But some bugs I would like to address are that you can glitch specific apps if you want to use them when blocked, and you can do this for as long as you want. It’s fairly easy to glitch our-pact easily in general. I don’t think it can be fixed fortunately for some, and unfortunately for a lot of parents. These glitches I’ve mentioned have something to do with some core functionalities of the phone that cannot be changed. Overall it does help with keeping someone off the phone and has almost completely removed my addiction to my phone. Guess that’s Ourpact for ya.

so you don’t wanna be know as an ipad kid, right? but you’re gonna complain about having screen time and these restrictions? make it make sense. i am grateful for this app because i don’t have to be known as an ipad kid or think about being an ipad kid. i want to go outside and be a real kid. the reason it’s 3 stars not 5 is because my dad can block apps that aren’t even doing anything bad to me. also it’s our own lives so we should be able to do what’s we want. our lives doesn’t affect us, it’s not theirs. i don’t know why they so worried bout our time when they can’t even get THEMSELVES none.

Mother/daughter combo review

Mother: What is just ok but could be better about OurPact? Daughter: nothing I hate everything about this app Mother: What is one thing that they could do to improve the app? Daughter: Give less control to the parents or just delete the app so parents can’t force you to do things Mother:What is the worst thing about the app? Daughter: We’re do I start. Well first of all the parents have to much power and scene you put so many restrictions on my phone I have no way around it. Also the app cliches a lot. Like sometime it will not stop my time Mother: What is worse then that. Daughter: Well that is a easy nothing is the worst then this app. Daughter: who ever takes this app down is my hero

Glitchy

So at first I had put in this as a 4 star review but unfortunately I would have to bring it down to a 2 star and it’s Not because my parents did something that was annoying or they were being controlling, they did none of that. But the app has suddenly gotten really glitchy I don’t know if it was because I didn’t update it or it just did that but what happened was I sometimes when i start the broadcast I go to text my friends but it always has the green bubble or “text message” even though they have an iPhone and the messages won’t even work or send I have to restart my phone 2-5 times for it to work and then it just goes back to not working after 30 minutes. OurPact I really hope you guys consider going deep into looking at this issue. Besides that the app is really great.
