As a 12 year old girl with a bunch of friends offline but i don't really see them a lot so obviously i would be on the phone with my friends right. I have an older sister who's 20 years old she had been given permission but my parents at the age of 16 years old to delete this app only because she was fresh out of secondary school she is now in university. I feel like my parents don't trust me by having this app installed on my phone and my iPad I play a lot of games with my friends and sometimes my mum just turns my apps off mid game. The night I got this app I was 9 years old they called me downstairs and told me to bring my iPad so I did so they told they just wanted to look at it and update it so i go back to my room for around 10 ish minutes then they tell me to come back and get my iPad so randomly at 10pm my apps just randomly disappeared so I went downstairs to my parents to tell them and they said it was my bedtime so i went to bed to find out that this a thing that keeps happening everyday the older I got the more time they took from my apps. So please please don't put this app on your child's devices they won't feel like they can tell you any trouble they have had at school or anywhere they will feel like you don't trust them. You may be thinking well that's you you and my child are 2 different people yeah we may be but we may be thinking the same thing or feeling the same thing. So please listen to me when I say thing app is very controlling and relationship breaking.

My parents put this on my phone and now they can’t remove it, I’ve deleted the app and all my apps just disappear and now I can’t remove it. I’m waiting to download it so I can remove it! Worst app ever didn’t help remove time screen or anything.. instead all my apps just disappear

I really don’t think that this should be even an app to be in the store as I think that it is a bit pointless alongside that it could be very very bad if somebody is is an bad situation and needs to use one of the blocked apps but can’t and I just really can’t stand it as a child when the apps I need to access chatting to my friends about important things or about personal things. It’s not a good app at all and I do not recommend it to any parents out there.

As a kid who’s been struggling with mental health and rely on my phone for support mechanisms such as music and comfort creators etc. This app has stopped me from accessing anything on my phone after a certain time and ever since it’s been on my phone I’ve been getting less and less sleep because I can’t have the apps I need for comfort. Also it makes kids feel like they have no control over their own devices. If you gave your kid a phone, iPad whatever, you need to have that sense of trust and if you feel the need to have this app then it takes away that bond of trust with your child and you might as well take their device away all together. I have friends with a 5 hour behind time difference and this app has made it hell to communicate with them. All I’m saying is if you want to get this for your kids please don’t. Sit down and have a proper conversation about anything you are dealing with that you think this app might help with but it’s probably only going to make your relationship with your kid worse and they aren’t going to trust you as much as you don’t trust them enough to consider having this app put on their phone. There are other, better and healthier ways of dealing with problems that you and your child might be having. Please do not put this app on their phone.

This ruined my children’s well-being with their friends and I’m horrified at what they try to doing would never get this for my children as it’s a way of skipping needed parenting my children used to have this and he hates me now so please never get this

What I am about to say should not mean that I don’t deserve the respect of being listened to, so please don’t skip past this review, instead please listen to what I have to say. Thank you for your understanding and kindness. Yes, I am a child. Yes, this app is being used on me. But please, listen to me, because if you are a parent and considering getting this app for your child, you deserve to know what consequences, albeit unintended, this will have. In getting this app, my parents have taken away the people I trust most, broken my trust in them, and caused my mental health to severely decline. Here, let me explain. To me, my friends and family are the most important things in the world, and I have a lot of friends that can only communicate on social media apps such as WhatsApp, Discord, Zoom, Instagram, and TikTok. We don’t get to see each other, as they live far away, and this is the only way we can communicate. We are so close that we consider each other family, and I feel so safe with them. They are the people I trust most in the world. But recently, I was diagnosed with CPTSD and autism. So my parents decided to block all my social media using this app. And just like that, the people I trusted, the ones I could say “I trust you” to and actually mean it, were torn away from me. This was months ago. I haven’t been able to speak to them since. Ever since then, I have been having mental breakdowns every other day, including panic attacks, meltdowns, auditory hallucinations, and more. Every night, I have at least one nightmare, either about my narcissistic abuser - aka my “best friend” and her family - or about something awful happening to those friends and me not being able to save them because I wasn’t there. The days I don’t have mental breakdowns, I spend a good portion of them crying silently so that no one can hear me, because I don’t trust anyone here. Not even my parents. Don’t get me wrong, I love my parents -1000000 times more than I love myself (it’s a negative number because I hate myself and a negative number times a negative number = a positive number), but since this app took away the people I trusted, my trust in my parents completely shattered.
