Simple, elegant, fast, but needs COLOUR!

Continues to be one of my most-used apps. Robust sync and elegant to use. As my lists get longer/more sophisticated, I am really missing colour and font size options tho

Simple to use, does its stuff

Ive been using this one for three years now and never felt a need to move. I just upgraded and now it backs it all up for me. Simple software that does one thing well.

Absolutely rocks!

Great functionality - not too much that it is difficult to learn or use, but just enough to make it flexible and powerful. Good user interface, syncs with the web app which is very handy. In my opinion it's the best iOS outlining app available. I run small to medium size projects with it, outline lesson plans for teaching, presentations for seminars and conferences, and develop outlines for textbook chapters and other academic writing. I use it on both my iPad and iPhone so that I have my outlines available anywhere at any time. Fantastic and highly recommended.

Great App

I agree absolutely with the last reviewer. I've bought numerous list makers but this is far and away the best. Easy to move and nest task, simple to clear checkboxes, simple to create new items and being able to create lists from my laptop seals it. I use it from everything from trip packing to consultation checklist. This is one of my favorite and most useful apps

Simply doesn't work!

This app just doesn't work. I have re-installed it but i keep getting error 500. I have e-mailed the developer and two weeks later, no response as yet. What a waste!

Very limited import option

First the good, the app works as advertised. The UI is clean and easy to work with. Now the bad. Unfortunately, the only way to import an Outliner file (in OPML format) is via the online service provided by Carbon Fin. Since the data is not stored in an encrypted form in the cloud, it is not suitable to use for sensitive information. A better solution would be to support DropBox integration, where data stored in DropBox is encrypted by default. I hope I can see at least one of the following in the next update, + DropBox support + Import/export via Itune + Import/export via local web server within a local wireless network. + Import via email (this is listed as one of the todo in CarbonFin web site but not yet delivered)
