USER FEEDBACK
* "The best breathing app out there (I've tried 12 apps, this is the only one that works for me). I have recommended it to over 100 people over the 7 years I've been using it. I use it at least 5 x a week. Gives me instant calm" — R. Hall
* "LOVE this app. Very simple and easy to use. You can set time for inhale, exhale, and pause after each if you wish. You can watch it or listen…Thank you! Ads Not intrusive. Ads turn off when the app is active” — Denise
* "This is a wonderfully simple app. The default sound tone is just right for me and I like that I get to set the volume and it stays there whether or not the volume of the phone ring or other apps are different" — Eleanor
* "I've never written something like this in a review but... I love whoever wrote this app :-) Gets to the point in 0.2 s. No long annoying splash screens. No attempts to extort money... Super reliable, simple and 100% effective. I was looking for something that would let me take some breaks during normal meditation to do some controlled breathing, for example our most natural pattern - continuous 5.5 s inhale, 5.5 exhale. This app lets me remain in silence, fixing my rhythm by vibrations, and just... works perfect! BRAVO. A lesson to all developers how to make useful apps!" — Adam

Paced Breathing Reviews

I like this app find, but…

I’ve recently become aware of how important it is to be conscious of our breathing and one of the books I read recommend this app so I started with the free version. Later I realized the pay version with daily reminders would really be helpful. So I downloaded it onto my iPad. Then I realized it would be better on my phone but I don’t know how to load it on my phone without paying a second fee. I’ve emailed the developer twice but I have yet to get a response. Disappointed.

Used to use this app frequently, but the vibrate feature has been broken for a while now. Please fix!

It like you heard my complaint 🙂

Thank you so much for the background play. The was the sole reason why I used other apps. Been a fan of pace breathing for years and was sad I couldn’t utilize this app because of the IOS limitations. We no longer have that problem. Fantastic job. 🫡

Excellent and Versatile

Found this app after reading James Nestor’s book called Breath. Previously, I’ve tried other breathing apps, some with bells and whistles. However, all I needed was a way to count breaths to the tenth of a second. This apps does exactly this, and with optional sound/visual/haptic. Everything is adjustable on the main screen, while miraculously staying simple and clean visually.

Just what I need

Simple and free! Ramping is what I need. This app allows you set the start and end durations for each phase of breathing AND the duration over which it increases. It gradually increases the durations, accordingly. Two needed improvements: 1. Make it easier to set the durations. The current dials are not the most user-friendly. 2. Make it possible to save more than one pattern.

This app is fantastic. My wife and I dove deep on the Breath book, mouth tape and all. I’ve struggled with the counting part of breathing exercises, and this app solves that. I can look at the screen to get started, and it even buzzes when my screen goes off, keeping me in check. Highly recommend!
