This app was good for 5 days before it got into disgusting and harmful sexual stuff. Stay away if you are looking for an app that is geared towards relationships based on respect, trust and safety.
My partner is not very good about talking about his feelings like a lot of guys and I’m someone who Over shares so this has been a great way for us to communicate without me over sharing and getting him comfort zone. Only thing I would change is I wish there was more this or that him or me games. Probably the funniest some more of those would be good.!
It’s really helpful honestly! It’s nice because it adds a ritual and prompts you to think about your relationship in different ways, and they’re all super important. Great representation of BIPOC people, plus sized people, and queer couples in their art and graphics. There is a premium version, but the free version gives you one prompt per day and a quiz per week, and that’s plenty!
Great app and concept! Please add to the app a love bank tracker for each in the relationship and perhaps it empties each week to be sure each are pouring into their partner the way the partner needs daily. For example have us take love language test and can see percentage we need for each and our partner can tell where they should focus most on filling. Also good to look know daily each others mood and if they are lacking anything that the partner could help or tend to more . Also add nudges that occur daily that gives us tips on what gesture or thing to do to help fill a bit of partners love bank that day based on what that partner may markers they need that day . This will help not forget throughout day to check in with partner and not just a boring check in but the app would suggest things to donor say
At first, I was a little skeptical because you are sharing personal information with yet another online entity. However, at some point in life, you’re going to transition from this human body into a spiritual realm. Who cares if your information is left behind but at least maybe that information can help someone else? I believe that the app is pretty private, but I’m glad that we have tried something new as it has created a fun spark in our relationship.
I think it’s a good premise to use to learn more about your partner. It opens up topics of communication that you might not think about. However, it needs work. There are several questions and games that have multiple choice answers that don’t fit at all. For example about religion, if you select atheist you are still asked to answer questions about religious practices that clearly don’t reflect the situation. A quick fix would be a box to type in your own response or a “none of the above” option.
I like the connection it has made between my husband and I, especially since we had to live apart for a little while. I just don’t like that there is only one question you can answer a day without a subscription.
Don’t like how you have to pay for it. It’s about your relationship. It’s not a therapist.
