Panasonic all play Spkr

Too restrictive Not happy

Half way there

I got these speakers because I wanted two things: (1) independent room music streaming, just off Spotify; (2) a party mode, where all rooms played the same streamed music. Unfortunately you can do (1) and (2) but not at a flick of a button. You have to join all speakers at the time or separate them all at the time... Painful exercise when a Party-mode button was all that was needed... Hopefully in an update of the app. By allowing the app to create several zones allowing repeated use of the same speaker, would allow the Spotify app to select whichever version of speaker combination you can think of...

Temperamental!

Having had this system for some years now I feel the technology was out of date when this system was brought out in comparison to Sonos. The sound on the speakers are good but the whole system is extremely temperamental and I have no understanding why the speakers would just stop working for no apparent reason? I have 3 speakers plus SCALL7 CD which was quite expensive and I truly feel given all these very negative reviews we should all be partially refunded and given the opportunity to purchase a more sophisticated version of what we already have at cost price!

Great hardware undermined by poor software

Bought the SC-ALL7 and 2 on the basis of the great sound and endurance of an analogue Panasonic unit, but have been very disappointed. The audio quality and hardware are excellent, but it’s let down by inadequately developed and supported software. It’s constantly necessary to re-pair the speaker, and rather too frequently to switch off and restart completely. Digital stations ceased to be supported through TuneIn, which was the only way to store as presets (what’s wrong with a URL?), and WiFi connectivity can be flakey, as is the ability of the app to find the units on the network. Such a pity!

Love this system when it works but it doesn’t link to apps, particularly BBC Sounds. Come on Panasonic - get with the times! Great sound but poor app connections

Not really worth one star

I original bought my Panasonic Allplay system 6 years ago and for a reputable company with a name like Panasonic you should think it would be good and to be fair the sound quality output is v.good. However despite a few upgrades too the software app over the years, it continues to frustrate me and I’m now being told through the speakers that the BBC is now turning off the radio support that it has with Panasonic, unless Panasonic enter in new agreement with the BBC! I’m also now led to believe that Panasonic are no longer going to support their product through any further software development and no agreement with the BBC. My TV is now ten years old and I’m in the market for a new one and after this experience, I can tell you now, which brand I will not be buying “PANASONIC”

App won’t update

App won’t update as it’s not suitable to the latest IOS version

Keep up with the times

It’s a good system with great sound quality from the All8 units but the software needs an update to link more streaming service and apps.
