Not a bad app, however there should be a function to mark all messages as read as there’s a legacy of notifications I can’t seem to clear.

How many parents are separated in the country? The portal does not allow for 2 parents to access for example parent pay and to rub it in everytime there is a permission slip I get told I am not the main contact! Actually I am for 50% of the week.

Typical from the Scottish government, shambles of an education system and shambles of an app. Why do I need to get 100s of email notifications per month that something has been posted in this app, isn’t the point of an app that emails aren’t needed? Can’t even change the settings - so everyone with school kids the width of the country is getting their email inboxes bombarded

Logged out all the time, so many notifications that don’t open/work.

Added second child and next time using both children have disappeared from app.

Couldn’t submit consent form had to try multiple attempts before the submit button was not greyed out, extremely frustrating.

Password carry on is totally absurd, I bet GCHQ has less pedantic requirements. Plus rerun, after 30 days. What nutter thought this up? Which nutter signed it off?

There are too many notifications and there is no obvious way to reduce this or to change where the notifications go e.g. only to app, only email, none! When submitting permissions there is too much repetition and requests for information already given in the annual data check. This app makes me want to go back to receiving letters from the school for notifications and permission slips. Also the initial setup of the system is confusing and not seamless going between the other government sites. This app should alpha or beta tested with a group of parents before any further changes are made.

Not updated quick enough with what’s going on and little guidance from school how to use it, therefore reflecting on the app itself.
