Got a ticket for 27 dollars paying through box on wall 2 dollars day before Christmas can’t get in touch with no one says someone will contact me within 48 hours no contact yet I wanted on line spoke to someone from parking.com told me to call validation no answer time is still running

I’ve had to use this app twice this week and it was 100 times too many. I’m a UX designer and usually have great patience for apps that I have to assume are built with one or no designers. But this is bad development too, not just bad design. Which means bad product management and leadership as well. 1. I have to re-enter my payment method every single time. Even though I have payment methods saved. Manually! This isn’t 1999. Great, you’ve added a scan card feature but it only fills the cc number and none of the other info. But again, I’ve already done this 5 times this week - why don’t you use my saved card? Also, APPLE PAY let me double click and be done. 2. Saved car. We recently got a new license plate. If you see me replacing the default car license plate, ask me if I want to save it. Do the same with my payment. 3. Parking session. If I JUST ran out of time on a parking session (because I was trying to rush and avoid having to use your app again), don’t pretend like you don’t know where I was parked, what car I was driving, and how I paid. You certainly can do this and it’s been table stakes for apps for so many years now. Execs, please. Stop being cheap with your product decisions. I’m about to head to my local city governments and pitch your competitors to them. Don’t think I don’t know how to show value and cost on bad existing service providers. I’ve never made threats in reviews before but it’s that bad. I should be able to see recently finished parking sessions, the places/car/payments I’ve used the most, and restart any of the above. 4. Your UI hierarchy is just bad. I have no idea where to look. And when I’m manually inputting my credit card I can’t even see the call to action (that’s a button - I’m wondering if maybe a salesperson built this app). 5. Hey you want to surprise and delight? Let me scan a QR code and open the app directly, with the location filled, my default car, ask if I want the most popular session length for this area (e.g. 45 mins POPULAR), let me change it if that’s not what I want, and just let me double click to start my session. And be done! 6. Another surprise and delight. Let me text “y” to extend my session automatically. Even if it only offered 15 minutes as the text to extend option. Ok I gotta leave this parking spot before I have to use your app again. Maybe I’ll start riding my bike to town.

This is the worst parking app I’ve ever used. On 5 separate occasions the time and dates I’ve entered have been changed completely screwing me out of parking. This app is shady and the customer service only gets you so far since you’re waiting for an agent so long you might as well just install and request a chargeback.

I try to use the pass purchased but was not able to get out of the garage

The app makes entering information complicated. It wants to save information with an “account” when a local save would be fine. When scanning a credit card with the camera it replaces the numbers with stars then won’t take it, but when you enter it manually it also replaces with stars but works. No Apple Pay. In addition the day and time defaults for a parking lot are the dumbest possible auto selects. For a daily lot, why do I need a time? Why don’t you just default to 23:59? So much time spent on “advanced” features that don’t work when the basics don’t work well either.

The app is great, but it needs to have a way to save my card. It’s so annoying that I have to type in my credit card info every time I park. Please pleasee add this feature.

This is the worse app I’ve ever used. I couldn’t scan in the train station. When I get on the train to book parking the app is not user friendly.

They count The time it takes you to process the transaction from your parking time! Is this even legal?! I was looking for a spot and processing transaction, in the area. They charge you for that time!!!

Great place to park

I have to resubmit info several times to get it to work and they charge 34% service fee. No other options to pay for parking except quarters. Shame on Metra for making people use this app. Probably someone got paid off.
