Most mobile games are huge cash grabs or ad farms lately so I always love to find a hidden gem like this, the idea alone to turn chess into a fighting dungeon game like this is amazing in itself, and this dude executed it PERFECTLY. I am trying to become a game developer myself, and this is the kind of game I strive to make
Demo
Great game but I hate it when games are demos and they don’t tell you.
Amazing, need more mobile games like this.
I’ve only played the demo and had a blast. I plan on buying the full game (just moved and got a new job, waiting for payday).
I’m personally a sucker for roguelike/roguelite games and for chess. When I found this game combined the two, I HAD to try it out. The tutorial was straightforward (if you actually take the time to read) and the Goblin Caves were challenging, making me actually think. It took me about 1.5 hours to get through the demo (tutorial and Goblin Caves) and was 100% worth my time.
Looking forward to buying the full game and future updates!
Shogun:worth the price of figuring out how the heck you use it or not
Answer yes. Mystic and Nomad characters are also amazing! 😻 Plz buy the full game! Game designers please make a sequel or a series of books! (Maybe even a show…)
Amazing game but iPad version needs some work
I have this game on my phone and it works great! It’s so much fun I highly recommend! I bought the full version and everything! I love it! But on iPad it won’t let you click some items. It gets even worse when I use an Apple Pencil like it doesn’t register it until I use my finger then it work for a little bit till it does it again! I’d love if that could get fixed! But great game! Love the concept!
DEVASTATINGLY UNDERRATED
Replay value is near infinite. Easy to pick up, with a near endless skill ceiling! Starts simple, becomes infinitely complex.
DEV PLEASE MAKE MORE GAMES I LOVE YOU 😭😍
Great game
Kinda sad I can’t play the full version without paying though. Worth it in my opinion, but I’m poor
An excellent old school game
This game is exactly what I want in a module game. Play is novel while building on an internal logic of its own. Art design is clear and clever, like the very best of old school games. This game does an amazing job and understanding it’s own ambitions and meeting them. It doesn’t try to do too much while also being ambition in its complexity. Systems are well balanced and reward thorough understanding of mechanics without being overly complicated. In every regard the design of this game is elegant. Nothing is wasted. It reminds me of a jewelry box, small, beautifully crafted, and purposeful.
VOIDGRASP IS THE WORST
Voidgrasp causing damage when applies multiple times breaks the game. In my humble opinion. Everything else is great.
Edit: after further review, I’m doubling down on Voidgrasp being the worst thing ever. Please please change it, the third level is virtual unbeatable by certain characters.
misleading and mid
“hey i don’t want to monetize my game with endless ads and micro transactions” sorry to break it to u buddy but no one is paying for this when the demo isn’t even good. maybe u should get a brain and put in ads who do u think u are 😂 bro thinks he’s gonna change app gaming
