PayRange Reviews

Horrible, Steal and take your money!!! BEWARE!!!

vivsells on

United States

Horrible company, I have not been at the laundry 4 less for months and they refused to help me get reimbursed rightfully when a machine did not work. I used PayRange at $5 dollars and washing machine did not start. This company uses an excuse stating that you have they gave reimbursed you in the last 30 days in order to scam you and not pay you when in reality the machine did not work snd you have evidence. They should be ashamed of themselves to steal money from the working people like us. Disgusted!!

Constantly failing to communicate with machines

SaxtonS on

United States

First of all, I appreciate the attempt to solve the frustration of needing coins for laundry machines and coming up with a cash-free solution. That would be great… if it consistently worked. Every other time I do laundry I end up needing to email support to get a refund, because it will draw money from your account without receiving feedback from the machine that the laundry cycle has started. Money keeps getting taken while the machine sits there waiting for payment. That seems like a major design flaw. I also don’t get why there is no way to resend the authorization to the machine to see if it will respond without needing to pay again. It is an incredibly frustrating experience every time and makes me dread having to do laundry. Also, let me emphasize that I need to email support outside of the app, rather than dispute a transaction in the app. Every time I click “report transaction” in the app, it complains that I have no email registered to my account, but if I click on my profile, it shows both my phone number and my email there, so it should clearly have access to my email. Please improve upon these aspects.

Hit or miss - frustrating

Either I can’t log into my account but I can register the washer/dryer Bluetooth signals, or I can login but can’t locate the washer/dryer signals. Insanely maddening. And quarter slots have been removed on the machines at my apartment so we HAVE to use the app. Ungodly frustrating.

They steal!

Don’t download this app! I played games and got to $116 just for it to disappear it says there was refunds and theres nothing in my account and the money is just gone! No one has actually helped me and it’s been a month!

Very convenient.

I enjoy the convenience of this app immensely. One thing to be careful of, is when you want to top off with $.25 of more time, you have to quit the app and restart it. I do not like that it doesn’t work unless you are smart enough to restart. You would end up paying another $2.25 for another full cycle if you aren’t careful.

Can't add custom amount of funds

Billygoat313 on

United States

It is very frustrating that this app can't allow the addition of a custom amount of funds--you must add funds in pre-determined increments. This is really frustrating because it means there will always be leftover unused money in the account if your machines take payments in amounts that are not divisible by the pre-determined allotments.

I wish I could put 0

I have had my account suspended for a double payment for nearly two months now and have had no response from support. I am unable to login or access my funds. Horrible app.

Add time to your dry and wash Money

TriplethreatP0221 on

United States

I am writing about the add time charge on my credit card. I was at my local laundromat and I wanted to add time to my dry, so I added my money and I couldn’t start it. It was a scam. If you have to add time I highly recommend not trying because you will lose your money.

Dope!

Nelia23 on

United States

This app is so dope and it saves me money. I usually take 20$ off my card to wash clothes and still have money left over. With this i can choose exactly the amount i need and I don’t have to make an extra stop to get money.

Extra charges, continually

Brandoncali on

United States

Once again this app continues to pull $3 from my balance and not register on the washing or drying machines. Just paid $12 for a load of laundry so things are looking up... Interesting how it always glitches to take your $$ and not run, as opposed to running without taking your $$…
