Zero Excuses NOT to Hit Diet Goala
Interface is flawless, fast and makes it dead simple to lookup, track and follow any diet. Gone are the days where you could find an excuse to cheat and not follow a diet goal, but Peel App makes it soooo easy to get ingredient information when you need it and in lightening fast speed. Fantastic work team!
Can save lives
This is the most breakthrough idea for people with food allergies. I’ve needed this. I spend half my time squinting at tiny print labels in the store. Wonderful resource. Tell anyone you know with food sensitivities or allergies.
Doesn’t check for animal products
This app is not very helpful for one of the things that would have helped the most. When I buy cheese or something with cheese, I always check for the type of rennet and if it doesn’t say microbial I don’t get it. I tested the app out on a pizza and used the lacto-ovo vegetarian preference. It didn’t look for the words rennet that were on the ingredients list. Instead it just listed all the cheese with a question mark saying it could have animal rennet and thatI should just get something certified as vegetarian. I guess I’ll have to keep scanning the ingredients myself the analog way, with my eyes and brain.

As a person who has been newly diagnosed with Celiac Disease, reading ingredients and trying to figure out what I may or may not be missing is really overwhelming. I love that not only does it flag ingredients to look out for but gives helpful explanation as to why. I’m so thankful for this app!
I won’t go shopping without this App!
Love this app, nothing could be more helpful while I’m shopping for groceries. I need to be gluten and dairy free. I love that I can customize my specific dietary needs. This app is easy to use, you take a picture, the app then tells you very clearly if it’s safe for you to eat. I am always amazed at what ingredients I over look. It has saved me money and time! Thank you, thank you!

Life changing
I’m lactose intolerant, my in laws are vegan and flour and sugar free, and my brother in law is dairy and gluten free. My family, on the other hand, are basically carb/carnivores. So finding foods that fit EVERYTHING for family events and holidays has always been so difficult. So far, this app has really simplified this process. I can go in, adjust the settings based on who we are eating with, and pick the right ingredients without having to text a ton of people! Easy peezy! THANK YOU!!
Life altering app
What an amazing creation Before You Eat is. As a celiac I spend half my time at the grocery store, gas station and restaurant trying to figure out if I can google ingredients fast enough to concoct a recipe that works for me. Or even if I can eat something! This app will alert me of the hidden ingredients I had not considered. In the US, labels require allergens to be listed at the bottom in bold but they are broad and not always aligned with things like brewers yeast that I have allergies to. This app has been a Godsend!
