Penzu

Everything was fine until one month ago that I would write something on an entry but these ones had deleted, even though the journal says that my writing has been saved. So if I write something and I click somewhere else and then I return to my entry, it will be blank bc what I wrote is deleted. Pls fix this

So I’ve been using this app for approximately 6 years and I must say it’s worth downloading! I payed for the pro version for a couple of months and all the features you get are amazing, including the nice backgrounds and the fonts and all, and even if you have the regular version you’ll have a great experience and the best part is that you can get it anywhere, your phone, tablet, computer. I just love it and even though I’m not very regular in writing, it does help to get what you want to say but can’t, off your mind. You can even set up daily or weekly reminders to go back and write a little. I have my entries from 6 years ago and I love that i get little sneak peeks in my daily mail on every entry anniversary so I can read what I’ve written before.

No one will ever read your entries and you can look back on your past entries and laugh at your opinions! This app is all you need to feel happy, full, and calm. ☺️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I think Penzu is a great app that everyone should download. If I had to describe Penzu in three words it would be THE BEST APP!!!! I hope everyone else can realize this, too. I was optimistic about using the Penzo app, especially after purchasing the Pro version, but my experience has been quite disappointing. Despite multiple attempts, the app is riddled with bugs, including disappearing notes and the sudden appearance of 50 pages of "untitled" empty notes. These issues have rendered the app unusable. I reached out to customer support several times, and while they suggested solutions like wiping local storage and ensuring the app is synced, these steps did not resolve the recurring problems. These persistent issues have discouraged me from using the app, and I have since switched to another solution for journaling.

I’ve been using Penzu for journaling for years now. It has its quirks and a few bugs, but it gets the job done and I keep renewing my subscription. So that says a lot.

What sets Penzu apart from similar apps for me is how you can very easily sync it between iPhone and desktop. And i just love everything about it, this is the journal app I always reccomend to people. I’ve been using it for around 3 years now. I’m very surprised how it’s not more popular, but I love Penzu and couldn’t reccomend it more.

I am writing this review in hopes that I can change my rating from a three star to a five star review. I have been a long time Penzu user. I absolutely love having a private journal on my phone. My main issue with the app is that it force closes or crashes every single time I try to make an entry through the app on an iOS device if I record my entry using voice recording. If I type my entry I have no issues. When I click record using the microphone and dictate the text, it usually force closes after punctuation such as a comma or a period. My workaround is to dictate my entry in another journal and copy and paste it into Penzu but it distorts the formatting and becomes a headache. If Penzu was able to figure out why this was happening, and it has been an issue issue for almost 2 years, I would happily write this app five stars. If you don’t use a voice dictation feature on an iOS device, I would highly recommend this app for your journaling means. Even the free version is great.

I have used this platform/app since 2016. It is remarkable to look back and see how I can compare myself to myself. Enlightening to say the least. This is the perfect app for me. Thanks Penzu!🫶
