I have been using Penzu for years now and for the most part I am quite satisfied with the product. I have lately found it quite disappointing though. I wish that you could update the writing environment in the app and I’m kinda bummed I paid hundreds of dollars for something that has now been abandoned. Bummer. Can we get an update to optimize current OS? Things have changed in 5 years. Thanks
I have used Penzu for 5 years. Affordable yearly plans and good features. Gets the job done.
Slow app, hard to open entries or make a new one most times, but i like the idea of a more secure journal.
Great place to journal. Really appreciate the ability to use the app on multiple devices with many different journal styles.

I use both the desktop and app version of the app and my phone entries will not sync with the desktop version. Very frustrating.

It is a fantastic journaling software. I have been using it for ages. I have multiple journals. I can tag and search between them. I have journals for different groups, different book studies, different aspects of my life in addition to a daily journal. This is the most powerful tool I have ever used. Cannot praise it enough!!!
Penzu is for journaling. If you have the motivation and/or support you need, it’s a very basic app. The top advantage is that you can reach your stuff on all your platforms from any connection anywhere. There are basic options like reminders. You can open multiple simultaneous journals, organizing as you wish. I confess I pay a moderate fee years in advance but you don’t have to. I simply am glad to encourage the developers. The complaint I’ve seen about being deluged with emails doesn’t make sense because you can shut everything off if you wish. I can’t comment on stability issues because I have not ever had anything go wrong. On the other hand, I’ve screwed up by deleting stuff I meant to keep. Every time I’ve sought support, it’s been prompt and on point.
