This app is great. But I just wondered if you could build in a relative altitude into the barometer app to read out in feet. What I mean by this is so that I can set the height to 0 at the bottom of the set of stairs/hill etc and read what the height is at the top of the stairs by climbing up the stairs using relative altitude or relative height ? It hopefully could be incorporated. I know there kinda is one already in the app, but it’s not easy to reset to zero without having to come out of the barometer section and go back in, and it doesn’t work in feet (only metres).
I taught physics for 30 years and wish this tool had been around back then (the phones too of course). I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the software says it doesn’t detect a proximity sensor. Of course the phone has one and it’s functioning properly so I think there’s a bug in detecting the sensor’s presence. Other than that, I feel this is an essential tool for the introductory physics curriculum. UPDATE: Proximity sensor detection is working in the latest update! Thank you!
Just fooling around with the app and found that the barometer is way way off. Right now, the actual barometer is about 30.2 and the app shows 26.3
Could you report separately GPS vertical and horizontal accuracies? On most devices they are available as separate numbers. Will be happy to update to 5 stars when done! UPD: 5 stars now. Thank you for listening!
My only complaint for this app is that the oscilloscope’s range is too low and the multi-record menu doesn’t show some of the text. Other than that, it’s a great utility!
The sound meter graph auto scaling hasn’t worked on my iPhone 11 or iPad Pro (6th gen) for quit some time now. I sure hope that can be fixed soon. Otherwise, this is an absolutely outstanding application!
Offers many tools for free. Pro version is a very reasonable price and a one-time purchase. Developers continue to update and improve the app. Only slight complaint is the UI, I wish it was a little more polished and nice looking. But for what it is, it’s great.
I’m surprised it’s ad free. Keep up the good work!
Still want my Tricorder
