Thank you 👍🏻
Easy to use and insightful;
Would appreciate if the fingering and scale were demonstrated for two octaves but apart from that it’s an amazing app.
This is superb. As a beginner there is just so much information in here, ear training is really helpful to me at the moment as are all the chord note details.
I use this app almost every day to train chords, scales and progressions. It’s my go to! Very clear, concise with a great UI that is easy to use and crucially, makes things easier to remember. The only extra thing I’d love to see is a midi option that lets me play chords on a keyboard and have them identified in the app.
I have finally found the perfect app for piano and guitar. If only it had fingering on the piano scales for scales like B m that starts on finger 4 of left hand. Minor Nigel I know but it would help a novice player no end.
This is truly an incredibly well thought out application. Brilliant. This is so, so helpful for learners and likely experts alike. Amazing. Thank you for making such a great app it is truly improving my life.
When I saw the reviews I was doubtful that the app would be THAT helpful, but it has helped me more in a few days than any advert-ridden website has in years. I would sit there for a long time trying to navigate all these different websites in order to find like a specific chord, or a specific progression and I would eventually find what I was looking for but nothing was consolidated. Whereas this app allows you to navigate a very well thought out interface where everything is intrinsically linked. All concepts and ideas are linked together seamlessly. For example, if you wanted to see all of the notes in a particular scale you can, and every note of the piano is set out above. You simply scroll along to find your desired key and then you scroll down and all inversions and variations (MAJ, MIN, AUG, DIM) are listed. Yes, some more complex chord variations are hidden behind a soft paywall of £6.99 but you get most of the common and useful stuff for free. On top of that, you can see how things are effortlessly linked together, when you click the blue arrow next to a variation. It will show you the chords/progressions of your chosen key as written music, Beneath that you will find a piano that you can play. Press the piano to highlight a note or multiple notes and the app will tell you what scales/chords use those notes. Incredibly intuitive. I haven’t been playing piano for long but recently I have been getting whole heartedly into more complex chords and harmonies. They are fascinating. And this app is a breathe a fresh air. Never crashed, always works and I consider as vital a tool to learning piano theory than any book out there. Thank you for this app. Jake
This is a great app worthy of 5 stars. There are some basic features that I feel it could still do with, things like easily duplicating chords - hence the title of the review, but otherwise this is one of the best purchases you could make if you play the piano.
