I got this app mostly for the tracking. I love that you can keep track of your macros, while making sure your eating enough of each food groups. It’s so important to focus on nutrient rich foods. The recipes look delicious, and I’m excited to make some. Improvements i would like to see quick add foods Scan food into meal not just food item (i.e black bean tacos from Trader Joe’s, have beans and grains.) if you just scan for food item, it doesn’t let you pick more than one nutrient group The app sometimes double tracks things but usually closing it and reopening fixes it. I would also like to see an option for adding weight in more than just biometrics, I am on a plant based weight loss journey and I would love to update it as I lose weight. (This option should be able to be turned off and on like the daily caloric intake) I would also like to see the caloric/nutrient intro for each item after adding it to my day. Sometimes I’m confused on what’s so high in calories or cholesterol, and it’s time consuming to find which is the cause. I would also like to see that info while adding the food too, not just quantity/measurement. wish there was also a quick add to the grocery list options also being able to write in other things that aren’t in the library of foods, including non vegan items (eggs, tuna). It would also be nice to drag each item on your daily intake to the areas (breakfast lunch dinner etc) instead of only being able to clickeach item and putting a category in. Lastly, it would be great to add an option for non vegan foods, like egg, I can add in but I can’t put it in a nutrient group, though I’m getting protein in.

I ❤️pickup limes! And my omnivore husband does too! Almost his favorite vegan recipes come from this app. Aside from the delicious recipes, this app is so beautifully designed and the user experience is great!
If I could add one feature it would be a filter by price ($-$$$$). We are balling on a budget so this would save me a lot of time. Other than that, a near perfect app.
Worth the wait
I have been a PUL fan for several years now and have been (not so) patiently waiting for this app. It was worth the wait and exceeded my expectations. Kudos and thank you!

One of the Best!
I'm someone who likes an app that functions like an endless database, with so many recipes I could never truly exhaust my search. When an app says it has 100 recipes… That's just not enough for me. I want my recipe app to give me the experience of treasure hunting with sure rewards. Knowing I'm already in a rich realm full of delicious possibilities, there are also gems that I find along my searches. Sadia's app does all this for me. I have been following pick up limes for probably around a decade now and this is such a wonderful achievement for them!
The PickUp Limes app is absolutely incredible to navigate, save recipes, and comment within and interact with. I really don't think there is a better vegan app you can download at this time. They regularly update with new recipes the ever-growing database. I can go on there and find something new most days of the week. For me that's great! I'm always wanting to look at new recipes.
The photos are beautiful, and the detailed instructions are genuinely helpful. I like that you can choose to go to a step-by-step page within the recipe, see photos and more instructions at each instruction and make better sense of the process.
These recipes are approachable, affordable, and fun and filled with flavor. I can't say enough good about it and it's definitely worth your money to get it for the year. Even if you do eat meat or dairy these recipes accommodate all kinds of diets as you can modify them easily.
The Best Meal Tracking App
I’ve tried a few but this definitely is my favorite meal tracking app. I love the philosophy of seeing meal groups instead of calories as the 1st thing you see. Super in depth details for nutrients, and logging your own food items is really easy yet in depth. Recipes are great, beautiful photographs!

Great idea and user friendly, but needs some improvements
Reading all of the reviews convinced me to purchase the yearly subscription. I wish there was a free trial before purchasing.
It’s very easy to use and I LOVE the nourish wheel. I’m a visual person, so it’s nice to see which food groups I’m targeting. However, I’m finding it a headache to add name brand items like Silk, Follow Your Heart, etc. It would also be nice to have an option where I can look at calories. As a vegan, I try to get a good amount of calories and would like to be able to see this or have it as an option.
This app has appealing recipes from PUL, but I’m not able to add other recipes found from other sites. I would have to manually enter them in, which is also time consuming and a headache.
Overall, this app is great for meal planning and not really for tracking.
Your way to better health
Healthy recipes to help you eat the rainbow. Great for vegetarians. Recipes created by a vegetarian nutritionist. Their app shows you meeting food groups and nutritional elements as you create your meal plan rather than counting calories.
Practical, user-friendly, and exciting!
I’m looking to eat more plant based foods, and this app has made that goal a lot easier. The content of this app is thorough and well thought out, the nourish orbs are a fantastic guideline to follow, the layout of the app and its ease of use are top class, and it’s also a very pretty app in general. A few comments:
1. Even though I followed PUL for years prior, the app made the process of eating plant-based a lot more convenient.
2. Since getting the app, I have been introduced to foods that hadn’t been in my diet before. Overall I ate well before, but the variety of food in my diet has increased a lot.
3. It’s made me excited to be in the kitchen. I am either learning a new recipe or skill, or getting good at making a recipe I’ve made before. It’s very rewarding and wholesome.
4. My body feels nourished, and overall I feel healthier.
Thank you PUL team for putting your love and effort into this app, it is such a gem. ♥️
