Great App for Learning a Language
One of the best ways to learn any new language. It’s more focused on listening and speaking so students can start basic conversations in a few months. Definitely worth a try if you found other apps not useful! Not to mention they have a ton of languages.
It really works
I have tried learning several languages whilst living in the country whose language I was trying to learn and I never got much past beginner level. I always assumed it was because I just didn’t have the sort of brain that learned languages easily and I couldnt hear what was being said as I’m more of a visual learner. This method attunes your ear quickly and you can have your daily lesson anywhere ~ in the car, making dinner etc so you never need to set time aside specifically to do it. I’m learning Mandarin Chinese at the moment, which is meant to be one of the hardest languages to learn, but it’s so much easier than I thought because you learn the tones like you would the notes in a song. They just stick in your head through the copy and repetition. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this approach.

Better than duo or collegiate Spanish courses
I had 2 years of Spanish class in high school, 2 semesters of Spanish in college, and WWOOFed in Costa Rica 10 years ago for a summer. I’ve tried duo since then, but pimsleur is the best at resuming the journey of learning a language (Spanish, for me)
