Just what I need
I’ve been searching for over an hour for the perfect app and finally found this one. It’s just what I need. Thank you! One suggestion- please, please add more color options for the pins! I would love about 15 different colors.

Using Pinbox on an iPod Touch or an iPad:
Like other map apps, Pinbox uses GPS to determine your location. iPods and Wi-Fi-only iPads do not have a GPS receiver. On these devices, Pinbox provides your approximate location using information based on your proximity to known Wi-Fi networks (when on and available). The more accurate the available information, the smaller the circle identifying your position on the map. This feature is not available in all areas. Known Wi-Fi networks are predominantly in urban areas. An internet connection is required to load maps, look up addresses, and search. Although Pinbox can be installed on iPads, it’s not formatted for the larger iPad screen - it runs doubled like all other iPhone apps.

Excellent app - Just needs a small improvement
This is a fantastic app. When viewing the map your current position, as expected, is displayed as a round blue dot. It would be a great improvement if this round blue dot also had a small arrow indicating which direction you are facing! This would help greatly if you are walking or driving to your destination as it would show if you were heading in the right direction! I know you can open the map in Apple maps or Google maps but this is an unnecessary and time consuming step if all you needed to know was the direction you are facing. Another minor but useful improvement would be the ability to sort your bookmarks either Alphabetically or Custom. Other than that it is a really good app.
Excellent well thought out app
It’s obvious a lot of thought, effort and love went into creating this app as it’s very polished with superb attention to detail.
Just what I was looking for
I use this app to pin places that appear in books I'm reading and TV shows I'm watching, which is a pretty good way of improving your geographical awareness and tracking that you're reading diversely. I love that I can put next year's pins on a separate map so it doesn't get too cluttered. I'd also use this app if I was planning an actual journey of course.

Such a good app! And now with the added feature of being able to pin photos, plus the constant developing; it's a must have.

Solid stable app, great idea, just wish I could add photos and sync with google or some other service besides iCloud for exporting.
Good, but needs improvements..
I dig this app, and the idea. But I really think you should be able to add pictures to places you've been, so you can kinda reminisce with a photo, or if you want to go back to that same spot you remember exactly where it was/what it looked like. On top of that, you should be able to mark off places you have been, instead of all the one colour maybe colour code places you have been and a different colour for places you want to go, and a list for that as well maybe?! Good stuff though guys, hope I didn't sound like too much of a demanding dick haha, but they are features I'd love to see. Cheers.

Won't run on my iPad mini
I would have love this app on my ipad to plan a trip but sadly it's not compatible. :(
