Dottable, is an an amazing app! A fun way to make your own pictures using pixels! My only problems are that:
1: the ads are really annoying,
2: if I forget to save my art, it automatically deletes it if I leave the app, this is highly unfair, and I lost an amazing drawing, I spent a lot of time on.
Great job
Can you implement 2 finger zooming on the canvas? It would make it easier to zoom in and out. Maybe a button that when you hold it you can pan to other places?
Best app ever.
I love this app. It’s way better than those other silly ones. Five stars.
LITERALLY THE BEST
Compared to the dozens of other pixel art drawers and pixel art colouring-in pages, this is the best app out there, with a lot of pixels to draw on, dozens of tools, infinitely many colours and, to top off the cake, layering. Think you don’t need layering? THINK AGAIN!
A must have for all pixel artists out there. GET THIS APP.
Oh god the ads
I know that it is a free app and all that, so you have to get profit somehow, but the ads are just too much, just dial them down a bit.
No
It is not good at all ad galore, keeps in crashing it's bad
Excelent!
Keeps getting better. Simple and good, excellent export options.
Very close.
I like this app; the interface works well and it hosts the necessary tools. Although, the only issue keeping it from being great is when you try load images onto the app...
I mean sure, it does the job by converting high resolution images into smaller resolution ones so you can use them as pixel art. Except it tries to convert low resolution images into pixel art, even though they already are...
Imagine you want to draw a pixel art tree for example. You already habe a pixel trunk pre-made and only need to add the leaves. Obviously, you expect to use the trunk as a base and draw the leaves on top... Right?
No. The app converts the already pixel art into pixel art, causing the trunk to become a messy blur.
If there was an option to add images and let them keep their current resolution, it would fix this issue, makign a world of change. I really hope this option becomes reality, as this issue is the only thing holding me away from using the app regularly for designing textures.
What a gem!
This app truly stands out above all others. I do adore its ease of use and its easy layout. I do hope it does really well!
Pretty Cool
Dottable is a fun little art app. I quite enjoy using it, and have produced a couple of cute artworks.
The only flaw is being unable to colour sample from an imported image. I would love for this to be a feature, or the ability to put in the hex codes for the colours. Hard to eyeball exact colour matches for certain characters/OCs.
Other than the colour sample issue, I am pleased with Dottable and will continue to use it.
