Have used this app off and on over 5 years. It’s always been a painful experience. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Unstable is probably the best word. And believe me, I’ve checked connectivity, capacity, phone s/w and any other potential issues not related to app, but it still only works occasionally.
The Best thing I can say about this app is it has 90% good OCR for English. The app crashes when a document is deleted. It is extremely hard to crop a text scan. You can import a previous scanned document that cannot crop at successfully.
Total waste of money
Talk about service! Was working well then started crashing. Sent the guys a note and they have fixed it! Just love this app. It's so good for copying cool recipes on the run!👍
I needed something that could capture text and then read it back without sending it anywhere else. It did just that and I am running latest iOS on my iPad. The intent is to capture text on a whiteboard which I have yet to do - but - this app captured an image off my computer screen and recognised it and then read it back with no loss or issues with words. The camera area you work with is a little small so need to take smaller areas but it actually achieved what I wanted that none of the 20 plus I tried could do Good app
Worked well for a couple of months, and from then on crashed the phone (iPhone) every time I used it. The problem continues with iOS8.
Does not work for intended purpose...scanning school worksheets to save typing up...only recognises titles but no text smaller and when I took a photo of section of worksheet turned it into text that did not make sense.. Want my money back!
