Description

Uncover the mysteries of live air traffic in one beautiful and easy to use app. Is it a bird? Is it a plane?! If it’s the latter, Plane Finder can tell you exactly which plane it is.

Plane Finder is incredibly easy to use and utterly fascinating. It enables you to see live air traffic patterns with real-time tracking of almost any plane you’re interested in, and in addition to the aircraft’s location you can see its current altitude, its speed and where it’s heading.

Get live information on flights - super handy when travelling. You can even be alerted when a particular flight is heading your way, which is useful if you’re trying to catch sight of rare birds such as the Airbus A380.

Switch to incredible 3D flight tracking anytime from any aircraft, airport or location on the map seamlessly to view air traffic as never before.

There’s a superb augmented-reality option that enables you to point your camera at the sky and see details of the aircraft that’s overhead, and with full support for iOS’s Dark Mode it’s just as handy for night flights as it is for daytime ones.

It’s all great fun, but it’s also very practical: in addition to flight tracking there’s extensive airport information, which supplements live arrival and departures with live weather reports for hundreds of airports.

Enjoy Plane Finder’s leading edge design as featured in Apple’s “The Power of Dark Mode” and “See it in Dark Mode” Collections 2019.

Apple’s App of The Day – Jan 2020 and Top ranking since 2009. Plane Finder is also featured in Gizmodo, CNN, GMA, BBC, Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday, CNET, Wired, GQ Magazine to name a few.

This app is so amazing I can track a lot of planes flying over my house it is amazing you should try this app

My 2 year old!

He is fascinated by airplanes! With this app we can see where people are going and talk about the environment there! As well as what they might be doing when they get there! If they are going to Colorado, they may go skiing on the slopes etc. I find the speed and altitude very interesting! Thank you so much! 😍😍😍

100% Useless

It allows you ONLY one flight unless you pay for premium. OK, so I deleted the flight so that I could enter another one. No matter how many times I delete it, it keeps coming back. I tried deleting it by sweeping left and by clicking on the flight and going to the bottom where it says delete. Still there. Seriously, how many people want to pay for premium for an app that they may use inly one day out of the year. Even paying for just one month is a rip off when there are websites that allow you to track flights for free. Deleting it right away!

Great app! Very interesting to know each plane took off and its destination.

We see aircraft flying overhead all the time, but as a matter of idle curiosity and entertainment, sometimes it’s fun to see where each one took off and where it’s going. It’s also cool to see its altitude and airspeed. Sometimes I’ll be on my deck with friends and we’ll play a game to see who can guess these things. I’ve also had some more serious reasons to use the app, such as when a helicopter was flying around at an altitude of less than 1000 feet for a at least ten or fifteen minutes. I was able to get the info needed for the county sheriff to identify the suspicious aircraft.

The app is a scam'!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only have a few seconds to open the app and find the plane that just buzzed my house at five in the morning... too bad, here's an ad to interrupt

Amazing!!! how is this not on the travel chart?!

First of all I love it because I am a big traveler and my parents used to work at jfk anyway… I love to look at planes it always amazed me and I always wonder where those airplanes I would see in the sky are going I went on the app and you can literally see what the airplane is by going to the airport closest to you and see what just flew out it. Reminded me a lot about flight tracker 24 which is also a app I recommend with this one and unlike flighty which I also adore is 3hrs before my flight I can see a widget on my Lock Screen which is so helpful to me!! Plus I don’t have to pay for it to be on my Lock Screen so I really use the app so I can have it on my Lock Screen plus I use flighty for tracking my flight and flight radar 24 for looking at flights I see when I’m not in the air and this app over all best app!!!!!!!!!

Just freakin neat
