PlaneWatcher was designed specifically for the Apple Watch, providing the best possible experience on this small device. The map rotates to align with the direction you're facing, so you can easily identify aircraft that you see around you. Use the digital crown to zoom in/out and touch & drag on the screen to move around the map.

Unfiltered Flight Data
PlaneWatcher shows you all aircraft, unfiltered, unlike most major flight tracking apps. Made possible by our amazing data provider ADSBExchange, the world's largest source of unfiltered flight data.

Local & Worldwide
View aircraft around your current location or jump to any airport in the world. Use the digital crown to zoom in on a busy LAX or watch aircraft taking off and landing at JFK.

Aircraft Details
Simply tap on an aircraft to see all its details: flight name, registration, type, category, operator, altitude, speeds and more (depending on data availability).

Aircraft Following
Interested in a single aircraft? Follow it as it proceeds among the other traffic. Just tap the small blue dot to exit follow mode and return to the main map.

Multiple Filters
Just want to see aircraft below 10'000 feet, Boeing 747s or only planes from a certain airline? You can filter by altitude, type, callsign or registration. Filters can be combined, too.

Customizability
Customize the display using many options. You only want to see helicopters and hide all small airports? You can do that and much more...

"Unleashing Radar Power: A Game-Changing App for Watch Enthusiasts"

I really enjoy using this app on my watch! It's incredible to have a fully functioning radar right on my wrist. Just imagine the convenience! The radar even rotates to show me the direction. I can discover aircraft that are usually not visible on other platforms. The only feature I wish for is the ability to see where the aircraft took off from and where it's headed. Overall, it's a fantastic app!

Fun app

Nice app, well worth the modest cost. As other users have said, origin and destination info would be icing on the cake, but I guess that data could be expensive. I had an early problem with North showing about 90 degrees off, but opening the watch compass once solved that. Speedy response from the developer when I emailed him about it.

Great application

Would be perfect if plane departure and destination included in information. Developer very helpful and quick to respond.

Great app but add destinations!

As mentioned in a couple of other reviews, be really cool if you could add where the plane departed from and where it’s destination will be!

Doesn’t tell you where the aircraft is coming from/going to

It would be better if there was a map with the aircraft over it. Also, it doesn’t tell us where they are coming from or going to.

Any chance you could add the aircraft’s departure and arrival airports? Other than that, this is a great app!

Absolutely Fantastic service and brilliant app in general!

I downloaded the app on my Apple Watch a couple days ago and it wasn’t working properly probably because of my watch and Apple ID issues, it is now working after an amazing thread of 6 emails to support and The service was phenomenal! I really recommend this app for anyone! Thank you so much!

It just works!

What an excellent app! It’s so intuitive that I was just able to install and use it. Works like a dream on my Apple Watch 5. Even turns as I move in line with the built in compass. Data is second to none and kudos to ADSBexchange for supplying it. Can’t rate it highly enough 👍🏼Well worth £2.99

Great app for anyone interested in planes

Great little app on the watch allows you to see the details of all planes in your vicinity and the surrounding few miles you can even scale the display by turning the button on the side of the watch. Excellent and much better on the watch than alternatives such as FR24 can’t understand the one star review.

Works Well

A great little app for Aviation Geeks. Works as described. I struggled to give the app Location Services permission on first install, but it worked after a few minutes. Recommended.
