The app is very helpful when dividing a restaurant bill, especially for a big group, but I suggest that there should be an option to add the tax in percentage as well. This is to make sure it calculates the tax amount based on each person’s subtotal. By just entering the whole tax amount it divides it by the number of people equally. I also wish the names of each person could be added in the plates.

Really easy to use 10/10

This app is so great! It’s seamless, easy, and useful. Not to mention it’s visually pleasant! My only suggestion (and the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars) is that I wish you could write in a tip amount instead of being bound to the sliding scale of percentage for the tip.

I use this app often with my dinner group. I wish plates could add more plates though. If I have restaurant reservations over 10 people, I have to use a different app.

I love this app! It’s so easy to calculate everyone’s share of a meal. I love that it distributes tax and tip based on the share of the bill total rather than dividing amongst attendees. Great for the friend who wants all the credit card points but doesn’t want to get stiff-changed.

This app is absolutely amazing at easily dividing portions, dissociation taxes and tip. I love how you can divide by item on your bill, and then further divide items by only some or all of the attendees if shared. It's also great that you can then combine itemized plates for people paying together. I have only two suggestions that would really make this perfect: 1. Allow user to type in tip amount. I regularly calculate 20% and then will round up to the next dollar amount when paying, but this app only has a percentage slider. It also only goes to 25%, and sometimes for exceptional service I exceed way past that. 2. Allow naming of plates. If it's only 2 or 3 people, it's not hard to keep track of who is who, but beyond that can get a little tricky.

This app is nearly perfect and there are 3 things that would make it one of the best apps on iOS. 1. Let us name the plates!!!! 2. Let us customize tip amount!!! 3. Please let us see the previous splits!!!!!!!!!

Tbh is app is fantastic - the math is perfect. It is something you need to practice a head of time because I usually find folk I'm with tend to be impatient and don't want me to go through the entire line by line, but it's fantastic when you're with folk who can wait the 2 minutes it takes to input everything.

It’s so nice to have an app where it equally splits the tip and tax. I’ve never seen another app do that so that’s amazing. Only thing is I wish we could see the names we give each plate so I don’t have to tap in to remember. Also, it would be nice to give a specific number for a tip rather than percentages. Always have to go over or under what I tip.
