Description

Pocket Pitch is a simple tool for singers who need to be able to quickly identify or play notes. This app combines a pitch pipe and piano so that you have two of the quintessential tools of a singer!

The Pitch Pipe is its primary function. It uses professionally recorded sound so that the audio experience is just like carrying around a pitch pipe with you.

The Keyboard allows for 6 octaves of pitches, ideal for vocal warm-ups or plunking out notes.

The Info page allows the user to provide feedback directly to the developer. The goal is to make the best free mobile app for singers, so input is greatly appreciated.

At last, a note the whole choir can hear in the pub after a concert. A real godsend for me.

Extremely useful app. Simple and quick to use. I have even used it to assist in audiating (sonically visualising) phrases while travelling to rehearsals and gigs. Helps me to practice and learn in the correct key while going over new or difficult pieces. I’ve even used it on gigs! The piano keyboard is so handy! Great musical tool. Along with a metronome and tuner - it’s at the top of my musical toolbox!

I have had pitch pipes before but they have not included a keyboard option. And they have not included a full octave on the pitch pipe - just C to B. C to C is excellent. As a singer the keyboard is great for learning new pieces, especially ones with tricky intervals, when you are away from home and no access to an actual keyboard/piano.
