Compared to the earlier games from this studio, the rewards are negligible and as an antidote, I play Tiny Tower where the rewards are enough to build up. It could be an even better game if the rewards were higher that the one or the ten gold one gets - it’s so bad, it flashes at the bottom of the screen as if ashamed. It’s great for teaching geography and a bit of history….but, £40 pound for VIP privilege and the adverts keep coming, not much in the way of rewards.
The game is really good and very addicting so you can play for hours without getting bored. But one problem I have with it is the save sync cloud, it takes forever to sync and most of the time it just doesn’t work. Other than that it is a very good game!
Amazing game, having a great time playing it, but it’s not very clear on what to do regarding plane mechanics and installing parts. I might be wrong in what I just wrote but either way I am enjoying this game and it is definitely one of if not my favourite mobile game in recent memory.
Love this game. I play this kind of game a lot and thought I’d buy the “Lost Property” feature. Given the price (£9.99) I thought it would allow me to come back and keep using it- nope. It’s only a 1-off. It wants to charge you each time you use it. It is. It made clear at all- buyer beware.
Can you please appropriately upgrade the rewards for global events? Delivering 500 jobs for an e-claw-e part at level 20 is heartbreaking… Can you also fix the online element?
This game is excellent, I play it all the time but you can tell this game was created quite a few years ago; low quality map and missing cities (Dubai mainly) stand out to me the most. I understand the game is 8-bit and supposed to give that retro feel when playing but the map could be redrawn in a higher quality and replaced as zooming in closely you can see how blurry it is. If Nimbit were to do this, it would make the game feel more up-to-date but still keep the 8-bit style. Dubai being not in the game does not make sense, it is one of the busiest cities for air travel in the world and should realistically be added to the game by now. Dubai isn’t the only city that should be added but other cities, mainly capital cities of small countries such as Nicosia in Cyprus and Tunis in Tunisia are examples but also empty spaces in the Balkans for example could be filled with cities from more countries. I also think that information that the game gives you could be displayed better and could give you more information that it doesn’t currently offer you.
Thank you so much for bringing Pocket Planes back to the App Store! I loved this game 10 years ago when I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to revisit it for the nostalgia, and now I finally can. I also appreciate the fact that the microtransactions are very reasonably priced unlike many “modern” mobile games. I want to support NimbleBit since their games were such a great part of my childhood. :)
I remember playing this game years back, in my iPhone 5! Please do not disappoint and keep this game running forever! I’ve missed playing pocket planes.
I was so sad when you deleted this game. So pleased to see it back again it is an awesome game
Great solid game but where’s the Falklands I really want to fly passengers and freight to Port Stanley
