The fact that text is now removed is a dealbreaker for me... sucks that this had to happen

The new update sucks, it now looks like a cheap editing app that should not be paid for.
Doesn’t work 24/1
App is failling, the screen blinks in black and white, can’t open photoes

Powerfull app
Very powerfull app, but the price does that I give it only 1 star. I stick with Snapseed until the price is justified and match similar apps.
Very powerful but unjustly priced and requires subscription.
Very powerful editor with a lot of advanced features. But there are plenty of other decent apps with similar functionality that are waaay cheaper and do not require subscriptions (which is sadly a hip thing now). Look for Darkroom, Afterlight 2 or even Google’s Snapseed and skip this one. *And if you want something really serious look up Affinity pro for IPad. It is offers more, does not require subscription and costs ~19 pounds.
