Great news source, but the app’s glaring technical failures makes it almost unreadable. The app frequently refreshes the content, which is good, but it then boots you out of the article you were reading back into the Home Screen. So you have to go find and open the article again to finish reading. This can happen 3-4x per article, depending on its length. Extremely annoying. 2022/3 update: the problem is has not been addressed for more than a year, which means I read much less of Politico than I would otherwise. Why are the developers MIA on this issue?

For a long time now this is the best app for American politics.

It should have easy-to-use font size button.

This app used to be awesome and after the last update, you totaled the app. It now freezes a lot, can’t update and for Pete’s sake, do you have to write your writer’s autobiography after each post? Good Heavens!

Perfect for Election Day.

I love Politico and this iPhone app is beautiful. But needs to support multitasking and you should be able to save your favorite articles. It hasn't been updated in a while so …

Allsides dot com still lists Politico as being merely left leaning but I wonder if their reviews don’t reflect current news reporting. My recent venture into reading it shows there is a clear left bias which rivals more traditionally leftist organizations.

If you port me put to a webpage but I can’t pinch-zoom to enlarge the text, I will delete you every time. I can’t believe I even tried this again years later.

Politico news app is great!

I read politico every day because I love the content… but the bugs persist and multiply. Stories disappear or are replaced by the next article every time I switch to another app for a minute… making keeping my place difficult to impossible. The app crashes. Images suddenly freeze and block the text. The app crashes every time I open a hyperlink. Its a total mess and has been for years. I’d love to see these things and more fixed.
