Portfolio Trader-Stock Tracker

Clear, simple and customisable interface. Plenty information for daily quick reference of multiple international port folios. I use it mostly on my phone to stay up to date whilst on the road. However the iPad version does the app more justice.

Now that iOS only supports ‘modern’ widgets - will PT support these? This was a valuable feature of this excellent app.

This is not only a fantastic app for tracking multiple portfolios and investments, it is also incredible value. I have been using this app for about ten years - I am now 76. Before I tried PortfolioTrader I had tried several others. The app is absolutely amazing value, I cringe when I think of all the apps I have paid for only to find that they are of little use and negligible value. Support for this app is excellent. On a few occasions I have contacted support and always received a very helpful response, usually within a day. I do wish it updated dividends automatically but I fully understand the problems this entails. I cannot recommend this app highly enough. James, London

It pains me to write this because it used to be a fantastic app with outstanding personal customer service. Recently though, I’ve reported a few minor bugs and requested help but in every instance I’ve been totally ignored - not a single response. Has the original guy Tom sold up and moved on? He used to be so prompt and detailed in replies. Dunno but it’s gone from 5 stars to 2 for me now. Such a shame.

Update: When I first bought this about 6 months ago, they were superb at responding to help messages and suggestions. That seems to have stopped now . The bugs I reported are still present and responses to bugs and suggestions have since stopped . Such a shame . The app is just as good as when I bought it , however, the odd update might be nice.

I don’t mind paying for stuff that works, this works. It is a well build app that allows you to track multiple portfolios (ISA, SIPP etc) giving you an overview of your entire financial worth. I use this along side my trading app, to give me more granular level analysis - it automatically prices my instruments and also give the latest insight from a host of online sources, saving you the effort of searching for information on any holdings you have bought. The developer is also really responsive to new ideas for the app. I tried many different apps prior to this, but this is definitely head and shoulders above the others.

I’ve tried a few similar apps and been disappointed… this one is worth it.

This app is brilliant - it allows me to track multiple investment portfolios in one place with links to realtime pricing. Allows exporting of data in a CSV file so you can manipulate in a spreadsheet to help with tax returns. You can also import data in a CSV which it a little tricky at first, but once you have the template ready, allows you to import all your historical trades. For perfection it would be nice to be able to configure the columns you are able to view, but that really is a small thing.
