Waste of time
If you expect to make a lot of money on this app you’re dead wrong. For starters they take 25% of your profit of each posting. On top of this The buyer has to pay $6.49 for shipping as long as it’s under 5 pounds. So if it’s a shirt that’s 2 ounces you might even end up paying more for shipping than you do for the shirt. You also have to box it up fancy with tissue paper and a thank you note. Other selling apps like Mercari, eBay, Depop, you’re able to use your own shipping which can cost you like $2.66 which is wayyyyy cheaper than $6.49. Also you can send in polymailers, not a requirement of boxes like Poshmate. The only thing other apps say is that it has to have tracking. Poshmark says they can only use their labels because then they are “unable to provide the buyer with insurance”. Well if someone where to buy an item that’s like a five dollar T-shirt they could care less about insurance. Plus they have the tracking number to verify if it did or did not arrive. Also, you will get 1 million notifications of people following you and there doesn’t seem a way to not get these notifications even when you turn notifications off. So it’s a pain in the butt scrolling through all of them, such as 300 notifications to see a notification if someone bundle to your item.
This app is 100% scammers
Horrible customer service!! Buyer BEWARE!!
Be prepared to have horrible customer service. No response to emails. I was scammed out of $115 and I started a complaint with them and the customer service person told me to respond back to the email, which I did. Crickets now!! No resolution, no response and I’m out $115!!!
Needs work.
You can find a lot of nice things on this website but the filtering needs work. You could search something simple and it’ll return no results. Or you could filter to show only a certain size but many other sizes are still showing in the results. It’s pretty terrible actually.
Respectable great sellers
Great sellers. Trustworthy
Sizing
Sizes have not been accurate with Lily’s idk if her dresses are just made small? But ive never worn a 10/12 and her 10’s are like size 6 🤷🏻♀️
Poshmark avoids Sellers Disclosure and Truthfulness
FEEL DISCRIMINATED
and DO NOT AGREE WITH THE WRONGFUL DECISION WHEN TRUTHFUL ON THE ITEM …
My fave buying app but
I’ve noticed the same listing repeating itself over & over in the search. Why is this happening, the repeating items even has the Like still marked. I had the same dress post show 6 times in a search feed, please correct this duplicate issue, its annoying & frustrating!
i love posh
10/10
Scam Emails
I wanted to try the app, and it seemed pretty good, at least for me. But after a couple hours, I started to receive too many scam emails about clothes and invoices.
The shipping
I really do like posh
Ark, but the shipping fee is too high. Sometimes the items are just not worth it as much because of the shipping. If I buy a dress for $15 the shipping is half of the price. Makes no sense to purchase
