Poshmark: Buy & Sell Fashion

Can’t use the app - or even the web site - because you’re required to use the app’s two-factor authentication to verify your identity, and it hasn’t once successfully sent me the auth code to my email address, no matter how many times I request it. Customer service thinks it must be a problem with my email provider - but I’m getting all of my other emails fine, including Poshmark ads and customer service replies, and they’re not getting stuck in my spam folder. Pray you don’t get caught in this loop, ‘cause it’s looking like there’s no way out. I finally managed to solve the problem with no help from Poshmark. Despite being given the option to log in with either a username or an email address, if you log in the first time with the username and get sent the two-factor auth screen, the app will FAIL TO SEND THE CODE to the email address associated with the account! It only works if you log in using your email address, despite having been given the option to use either. I’m surprised no one spotted this glitch sooner - or if they did, I’m doubly surprised that NO ONE FIXED IT!

I recently had a disappointing experience as a seller on Poshmark, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. In my opinion, Poshmark is one of the worst platforms for sellers due to their exorbitant 20% fees and lack of adequate seller protection and support. As a result, it becomes challenging to sell products at a reasonable price and attract potential buyers. Moreover, the lack of responsiveness and support from Poshmark is highly concerning. I reached out to them twice via email, and both times I received no response. It's disheartening to see such disregard for sellers, who play a crucial role in the success of the platform. Effective communication and prompt assistance are essential, but Poshmark seems to neglect this aspect completely. This platform also affects buyers negatively. The inflated prices caused by the 20% fees make it less appealing for buyers to purchase items on Poshmark. Consequently, both sellers and buyers are disadvantaged, creating an unfavorable environment for everyone involved. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Poshmark as a platform for selling or buying due to the exorbitant fees, lack of seller protection, and inadequate support. There are better alternatives available that provide a fairer and more supportive selling experience.

I have heard a lot of good things about poshmark and I had some clothes I wanted to sell and so I was trying to get on their platform to sell and I had to have a card on file and they told me they had to put a temporary charge of $399?!?? I felt like that was high and seemed fishy but then I spent 30-40 minutes trying to work with them and they ended up charging my card and then trying to use it for other things. I had to get a new card and ended up deleting all my information on there. Why I was scammed I don’t know but I will not ever trust this site again.

I discovered Poshmark and made two purchases. The first was for a pair of boots I’ve been searching everywhere for for months. I was ecstatic to find them. I did the “buy now” option, paid for them and got a tracking number, and then the seller cancelled because someone else was willing to buy them in a bundle. The second was for a sweater I was excited for and the seller had to cancel to shipping related reasons. All around garbage experience. Will never use again

Very numba one!

Every time I post something for sale, it sends me an email to bulk share which then takes me to poshmark.com which takes me back to the app and never shows me how to actually bulk share. Like, if you actually want me to sell more clothes, show me how. it’s not a bad app, but it sends me way too many emails. Pls help Poshmark.

I sold on Poshmark for 4 years, and finally gained Poshmark ambassador status. Then, they decided to start auctions. Completely destroyed anyone’s chances of selling anything the normal way. Unless you buy pallets of clothing and sell them very cheap on auction, you won’t sell anything. This was my absolute favorite selling platform. No more.

If you’re going to use this app be very very careful there is a lot of scammers and scamming going on just be careful they actually have no real customer service

Returns are not allowed even with defective tops that don’t fit right.
