Pray As You Go

Hands down my favorite prayer app. Recently stopped working reliably. I hit the button and nothing plays. The music, the voices and the scripture passages are the best out there. The contemplative sessions are amazing.

I find the app temperamental. The daily p red Ayer’s don’t always seem to play, but I do love be the retreats etc. I do wish there were more of them. I enjoy the Ukraine retreat … would love my re options as well he world is becoming more heavy.

this app has been so helpful and deepening my spiritual walk and it’s just perfect. The music, and insight is so beautifully dine. However, I wish you would add what chapter and verse the readings come from rather than just stating it was from, for example, first Corinthians. I like to sometimes read along in my Bible or go to the reading after the devotion and it takes a while to figure out where in the chapter verse of the day came from. Thank you🙏🏻

Uneven across the board: -content is almost always fine, app is always wonky -some of the narrator voices are superb, others very distracting -music is the most uneven…some singers are inspiring, most choirs are excellent, most folk style singers’ enunciation is so poor that I skip ahead to scripture to save the irritation -the reflective comments and questions at the end are almost always on point and probing

5 stars for content 1 star for this new app that keeps bugging. The old app never gave problems. I have used pray as you go for more than 7 years. iPhone user

I love this app. Such a great way to start daily prayer, but it is so frustrating when it crashes constantly

Like other reviews, lately it just won’t play on either of my phones - iPhone 13 & 14. Opens, but the play/pause buttons have no response.

I love this app and use it daily. My frustration is that I need to delete it and reload it once or twice a week. This means I am a devoted user, but cannot seem to get the support. I need to not have this glitch constantly occurring. I am using the app on my iPhone 8 plus. 3/24… I love this app and I’m so sad to finally give up on it. I have donated to the organization that runs it and I still have to reload it once or twice a week or more… On both my iPhone and my iPad. Very sad day.

I would rate a 5 if I didn’t have to reboot the app all of the time. There seems to be a glitch and the app doesn’t play immediately when starting a session. I always have to close out of it and reopen. Today it never started despite opening and closing a few times. I am writing this so it can be addressed because I would love to continue using it.

I’ve listened to PAYG for well over ten years now. The content is the best, bar none. But the app stinks! It is incoherent and not at all user friendly. I listen now via Apple podcasts, which has its own set of problems (mainly, podcasts list out of order and automatically show as played and expire a day before I even get to them!). But at least they play.
