Doesn’t work
I used to use this but it doesn’t work anymore. I wrote to the developer and raised my concerns and the responded saying they would look into it. That was ages ago and after an initial question from them which I responded since then no response.
Tied using the latest update but still no good. Works on rare occasion.
A friend has the same issue.
It’s a lovely idea for an app but I feel the changes make too complicated. Obviously others find the same issue.
I could understand that it may be my issues but when other have same issues then it is clearly the app.
Updating
Since all the updating, I find the text almost invisible and can hardly read it. The print is so pale. Elizabeth
Issues
Yes I am having the same problem. The previous app was more user friendly. I have tried deleting and reloading the app but that doesn’t help. I have sadly stopped using it .
Please fix it
It is a wonderful app, used to work fine but the newest version just hangs when trying to listen to the Daily Pray. Please fix it, tried to use it on a number of apple phones and iPads, only get it to work very occasionally. Used it for years and years. So please please fix it as it is a wonderful resource.
App now useless
If used to be the most amazing app, it now crashes so often and it’s difficult to use. A classic case of it wasn’t broken, so don’t fix it. It’s now broken I’m afraid.
Disappointed.
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve downloaded and deleted this app from my iPhone 12 because of its clunky performance.
When I first downloaded, it was a much simpler app….but it worked seamlessly.
There is so much valuable content now crammed into the current iteration that it takes forever for the daily reading to start, or for me to be able to navigate from one feature to another. Often, it simply hangs, and I have to re-boot the phone to get out.
I think you have to offer 2 versions of this: 1. Current version, which may work well on laptops/home computers, and 2. Light version, stripped of all the graphics and add-ons, that make it difficult/impossible for phones to be able reliably access.

Great potential.... There is no gong with the meditation timer....
New Version Struggle
I have used this app for years and found it very easy to use. The daily scripture readings and guided reflection deepened my prayer life. The special retreats helped me through the difficult times especially in the past years during the lockdown.
The new version, however, is a struggle. It has so many “moving parts” that don’t always work seamlessly. It is a challenge to navigate from one prayer to another without the screen freezing. The background image makes it hard to read the text. I long for the days when it was simpler and I can focus on the prayer not the fancy GUI. Now I don’t use it everyday because it is NOT very user friendly, anymore.
A wonderful App to focus your daily spiritual journey
PAYG has been a central part of my daily life for several years. The most recent makeover of the app is now functioning seamlessly and the initial bugs, including the time zone problem, have been squashed.
Highly recommended to all looking for a calming way of easing into the day.
Barely works since upgrade
I used to love this app but since it was recently redeveloped to look more trendy and be more interactive, it barely works at all: wont open on the right date, interactive icons don't work without several attempts, and when they do, the interface is a confused mish mash of text overlay obscured by the background design. The website interface a slightly more user-friendly but not much.
